Module API integration that keeps your systems telling the same story

We build API integrations inside platform modules, so your Magento store, Odoo ERP, Drupal site or CRM exchanges orders, stock, customers and documents with couriers, banks, marketplaces and internal tools without manual re-keying. It suits businesses whose staff still copy data between screens every day.

The cost of copying data by hand

Every business that sells through a platform ends up running two or three other systems beside it. Orders land in the store, the accountant works in one tool, the warehouse uses another, and the courier gives tracking numbers through a portal.

Staff become the integration: someone downloads a CSV each evening and uploads it somewhere else. It works until the volume doubles or the person is on leave, and then orders go out late and stock counts drift.

An integration module replaces that routine with a defined data flow. When an order is paid, the module creates the shipment with the courier, stores the tracking number on the order and emails the customer. When stock changes in the ERP, the store reflects it. The value is not cleverness. It is that the same fact exists once, in the right place, and moves on its own.

We write these integrations as modules for the platform that owns the data, so they respect its permissions, events and upgrade path. Our work is delivered from Lahore for clients in Pakistan, the Gulf, the UK and North America, including integrations with local couriers and payment providers, subject to the access and documentation those providers give.

Pakistani merchants add a few local twists. Cash on delivery means the courier collects money that must be matched to orders days later, partial deliveries and returns are common, and customers expect order updates on WhatsApp. A good integration treats reconciliation as a feature, with a report that shows which parcels are delivered, which cash has been remitted and which orders are still in transit.

Integration types we build most

The pattern repeats across platforms even when the names change.

Courier and shipping

Rate lookup, label creation, tracking updates and cash-on-delivery reconciliation with the carriers you use. Related work appears under shipping and courier plugin development.

Payments and banking

Gateway callbacks, refunds, reconciliation files and status checks. Payment code gets extra review and testing.

ERP, accounting and inventory

Orders, invoices, stock levels and customers moving between store, ERP and books in a controlled way.

CRM and marketing tools

Leads, deals and customer events sent to the CRM, plus audience data to email and ads platforms where the rules allow.

Marketplaces and feeds

Product and price feeds, order import and stock export to marketplaces and comparison channels.

Messaging and notifications

SMS, email and WhatsApp business messages triggered by order and ticket events, within each provider's terms.

Method from API documentation to monitored flow

Integrations fail at the edges: slow responses, duplicate calls, partial data. Our sequence is built around those edges.

  1. Source reviewWe read the API documentation of both sides, test access in a sandbox, and list rate limits, authentication methods and known gaps. If a provider has no usable API, we tell you before you pay for a build.
  2. Data mappingA table of every field, its source, its destination, format changes and what happens when a value is missing. You approve the table.
  3. Flow designWe decide what runs in real time, what runs on a queue and what runs on a schedule, and how duplicate or out-of-order messages are handled.
  4. Build with failure pathsRetry rules, timeouts, dead-letter handling and a log your staff can read. Secrets stay in secure configuration, not in code.
  5. Test with realistic dataWe replay realistic orders and edge cases, such as a cancelled order, a partial refund and a courier outage.
  6. Go-live and watchControlled launch, an alert for failed syncs and a review after the first live week.
  7. Documentation and runbookA one-page runbook explains what each job does, where to look when something fails and how to replay a failed message safely.

Real-time, queued or scheduled sync

Choosing the wrong pattern is a common cause of slow checkouts and lost updates.

Pattern
Good for
Trade-off
Real-time call
Payment status, shipping rates at checkout
A slow provider slows your customer
Webhook receiver
Courier status, payment confirmation
Must verify the sender and handle repeats
Queued job
Order export, email, document creation
Small delay, but resilient to outages
Scheduled batch
Stock levels, nightly reconciliation
Data is only as fresh as the last run
Manual trigger with review
Sensitive financial postings
Needs a person, but gives control

Quote factors, security and ownership

The price of an integration depends on the number of systems and data objects, the quality of the API documentation, the difficulty of the authentication method, the volume and timing requirements, and the depth of error handling and reporting you need.

A single one-way push is modest.

A two-way sync of stock, prices and orders between three systems is a sizeable project. We scope after reading the documentation, then quote a fixed scope with milestones in USD.

Security is part of the build.

We store keys outside the code repository, limit permissions on API accounts to what the flow needs, verify webhook signatures where the provider supports them, and avoid logging card or personal data.

Third-party providers change their APIs and terms, so check the current documentation and policy for each service you rely on.
You own the module and its source.

If the integration sits on a platform we also build for, see Magento module development or Odoo module development.

For standalone systems rather than platform modules, our API development and integration team can help.

Testing against live providers has a cost too: sandbox accounts, test cards and test shipments all need setting up.

We list the accounts we need from you at the start so the build is not stalled waiting for credentials.

Monitoring: evidence that the data is right

Proof for an integration is reconciliation.

We compare counts and totals on both sides over a set period: orders created against shipments created, stock shown in the store against stock held in the ERP, invoices posted against payments received.

Differences are investigated until they have a reason.

Our reporting lists what synced, what failed, what was retried and what needs a human decision.

For ongoing needs, failed-sync alerts and a weekly summary go to a named person on your team.

After launch, the module can continue under module maintenance and support, which covers provider API changes and version updates.

Our wider guidance on safe customisation is in how to customize ERP and CRM modules safely.

Think about who reads the alerts.

An integration that emails an unmonitored inbox is not monitored. We agree the recipient, the channel and the response expectation during setup.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you get in touch.

Can you integrate with a courier or payment provider in Pakistan?

Usually yes, if the provider offers documented API access. We confirm availability, sandbox access and current terms before quoting. Where a provider has no API, we say so and suggest alternatives.

What happens when the other system goes down?

Calls are queued and retried with increasing delays, failures are logged, and an alert is raised after a set number of attempts. Orders are not lost, and staff can see what is waiting.

Do you build one-way or two-way sync?

Both. One-way is simpler and often enough. Two-way sync needs clear rules on which system wins when the same record changes in both, and we agree those rules before coding.

Will an API change by a provider break the module?

It can. Providers retire and revise endpoints, so integrations need monitoring and occasional updates. That is the main reason clients take a support arrangement.

Can you connect our CRM and ERP?

Yes. The common pattern is customers and orders flowing one way and credit or stock status flowing back. See CRM module customization for the CRM side of that work.

How do I get started?

Share the two systems, what should move between them and how often, through the contact page. We will review the documentation and reply with a plan and questions.
