Google Ads academy: practical answers before you spend another rupee
This Google Ads academy answers the questions advertisers ask us most, from how much to spend to why clicks do not turn into enquiries. Every lesson gives the direct answer first, then the reasoning, so you can fix an account yourself or judge what an agency tells you.

Who the lessons are for
Most people reach these pages in one of three situations: they are about to start advertising, they are paying for ads that do not produce leads, or they are reading an agency report and wondering whether it is honest. The lessons are written for all three, with minimal jargon and no sales pitch hidden inside.
Our team has managed more than $20M in ad spend, so the advice reflects accounts that wasted money as well as those that did well. We do not promise cost per lead or sales, because those depend on your offer, website and market. We do show how to measure what is happening and which settings deserve attention first.
Work through the lessons in the order of your problem. If you are starting out, set up measurement before anything else. Ads without conversion tracking are a guess.

Common symptoms and where to look first
Most account problems fall into a handful of patterns.
Symptom | Often caused by | Check first |
|---|---|---|
Many clicks, no enquiries | Wrong queries or weak landing page | Search terms report and form tracking |
High cost per click | Low relevance or competitive terms | Quality Score components and match types |
Spend runs out by noon | Budget too small for the targeting | Budget, schedule and location settings |
Conversions look too good | Duplicate or low-value goals | Conversion actions list |
Campaign stalled after launch | Learning period or low data | Patience and conversion volume |
How to read the answers in this library
A short answer comes first, followed by the reasoning, a list of mistakes and a note on how the advice changes for Pakistani advertisers or international targets.
If you disagree with it, the rest of the page shows how we got there.
Those vary too much by industry, season and country, and quoting them would only give you a false target.
Questions to ask before changing any setting
A short check keeps good accounts from being damaged by well-meant edits.
- Do I trust the conversion data?If tracking is wrong, every other decision is wrong too.
- Is the problem traffic or conversion?Poor traffic needs targeting changes. Poor conversion may need a better page.
- Have I given the change time? Many edits need a few weeks of data before you can judge.
- Can I change only one thing?Make one change at a time and record the date.
- Does this match my margin?A cost per lead that looks high may still be profitable. Know what a customer is worth.
When to hand the account to a specialist
Help makes sense when the budget is large enough that mistakes cost real money, when you have limited time or when you have changed settings repeatedly without clear results.
Our Google Ads management services begin with an honest account review, and our Google Ads audit and optimization work can tell you whether a rebuild is needed.
