Sales strategy consulting that turns scattered effort into one plan your team can run
We provide sales strategy consulting for owners and sales heads who need a clear answer to three questions: who should we sell to, what exactly do we offer them, and how do we reach them. It suits B2B firms, service businesses and exporters whose revenue depends on a few people's instincts.

- Targets, channels and owners agreed before any activity starts
- Delivered remotely from Lahore with working-hour overlap for the UK, UAE and USA
The gap between instinct and a written plan
Most businesses do not lack a sales strategy because nobody thought about it. They lack one because it lives in the founder's head, in a few WhatsApp threads and in whatever the best salesperson happens to do.
When that person leaves, or the company tries to double its team, the strategy walks out or fails to copy. Sales strategy consulting is the work of getting that thinking onto paper and testing it against evidence.
A usable strategy answers a short list of questions in plain language. Which customers are worth winning and which are a distraction? What problem do we solve for them that competitors do not? Which channels bring those customers to a conversation: referrals, outbound calls, marketplaces, search, events, agents? What does a good quarter look like, and who owns each part of it?
We have worked with more than 500 clients across 48 countries, and the pattern repeats. Teams that sell to everyone discount to everyone. Teams with a narrow, well-described target customer shorten their sales cycle because they stop arguing with the wrong buyers. Strategy is mostly the discipline of saying no to the wrong market segments early.
Written outputs of the engagement
The output is a working document and a set of agreed numbers, not a slide deck that sits in a folder.
- Won and lost deal reviewWe read through your last deals, close reasons, quotes and chat history to find who actually buys, why, and where deals die.
- Ideal customer and segment mapA short list of target segments ranked by fit, margin, sales effort and reachability, with the segments to avoid stated clearly.
- Offer and positioning statementHow you describe what you sell, to whom, against which alternatives, in language buyers use themselves.
- Channel planWhich routes to market carry the load, which are supporting, and which to stop, linked to realistic capacity in your team.
- Targets and capacity modelRevenue, deal counts and activity levels worked backwards from your own conversion rates, so targets match the headcount you have.
- Ownership and cadenceWho is accountable for each channel and number, plus a weekly and monthly review rhythm.
- Ninety day action planA sequenced list of the first moves, with owners and dates, so the strategy starts producing signals quickly.

Written scope before work starts, no guaranteed rankings and ad and analytics accounts that stay in your name. Client feedback is on the reviews page.
A phased engagement with a decision at each stage
We keep the work in short phases so you can stop or change direction after any of them.
- Discovery interviewsWe speak with the owner, sales leads and a few reps, and where you allow it, with recent customers and lost prospects.
- Data and deal analysisWe pull CRM exports, quotes, invoices and call notes. Where there is no CRM, we rebuild the picture from spreadsheets and messages.
- Strategy workshopA working session where we present findings, challenge assumptions and agree the segments, offer and channels together.
- Written strategy and targetsWe draft the plan, the capacity model and the first ninety days, then revise it with your feedback.
- Handover and launch supportWe brief the team, set up the review rhythm and stay available through the first cycle to adjust what the real numbers show.

Frameworks and tools in the work
We use plain, well-tested tools. The method matters more than the software.
Tool or method | Used for | Output |
|---|---|---|
CRM export or spreadsheet | Deal history and conversion analysis | Real win rates by segment and source |
Customer interviews | Buying reasons and objections | Language for positioning and scripts |
Segment scoring grid | Ranking markets by fit and effort | Priority and avoid lists |
Capacity model | Linking targets to team size | Realistic quota and activity levels |
GA4 and Search Console | Checking inbound demand where relevant | Evidence of which searches already bring buyers |
Looker Studio or Sheets | Tracking the plan once live | A single page of leading and lagging numbers |
Factors that set scope and quote
We quote after a short call and a look at your data. These factors change the size of the work.
Number of markets and products
One product sold in one city is a lighter project than three product lines sold locally and abroad.
State of your records
A tidy CRM speeds the analysis. Scattered spreadsheets and chat threads add a reconstruction phase.
Team size and seniority
More reps and managers mean more interviews, more alignment sessions and a heavier handover.
Sales cycle length
Long, multi-stakeholder deals need deeper account mapping than quick transactional sales.
Level of implementation support
Some clients want the plan only. Others want us in weekly reviews through the first quarter.
Access to customers
Customer and lost-deal interviews improve the strategy. Limited access means leaning more on internal data.
Situations where this is the wrong purchase
With ten deals and no clear pattern, you need to sell more first, keep notes, and come back.
We will say so, and may suggest starting with sales process design so that you at least record what happens.
If your team already agrees on target customers and the offer, but follow-up is slow and leads go cold, you need a pipeline fix or coaching, not another strategy document.
We can describe the market honestly, but we cannot invent demand that is not there, and nobody can promise you a particular revenue outcome from a document.
Selling from Pakistan, strategy for local and export buyers
Trust is often built through referrals, a known name in the room and a phone call before any paperwork.
Many B2B deals are agreed on WhatsApp, payment terms are negotiated hard, and decision makers may be family owners who shape the decision. A strategy that ignores this will read well and fail on contact with the market.
For companies selling abroad, the questions change: which countries first, through agents, distributors or direct accounts, and how to prove reliability to buyers who have never met you.
Where that is the main question, our export sales consulting is the closer fit, and the two often run together.
We work from Gulberg III in Lahore, with overlap for UK, UAE and US business hours, and we are used to adjusting plans for payment in USD, import rules and long distance relationships.
Choosing between a strategy project and ongoing advisory
Others want a monthly relationship where strategy is revisited as the numbers arrive. Both are valid.
Ongoing advisory suits one that is changing fast, entering new markets or hiring several reps at once.
Customers shift, competitors change their pricing, and a channel that carried you last year can quietly weaken.
If your team needs skills rather than direction, pair the plan with sales team training so the people who must carry it out are ready.
And if you want to see how we think about positioning for smaller firms, our SME marketing consulting page shows the marketing side of the same questions.
Typical strategy questions we help answer
These are the decisions owners most often bring to the first call.
Which segment first?
When resources are limited, we compare segments on fit, margin and reach, and recommend one or two to focus on for the next two quarters.
Direct sales or distributors?
We set out the control, margin, cash and support trade-offs of each route for your product and market.
Compete on price or on proof?
We look at what buyers in your segment actually value, and whether your evidence supports a premium position.
Hire reps or fix the system?
We check if the numbers show a capacity limit or a conversion problem before you add salary cost.
Where do referrals fit?
Referrals are often the best source. We help you make them repeatable rather than accidental.
Local market or export?
We outline the readiness checks for selling abroad and how to run both without starving either.
Proof by method: how we check the plan is working
We agree a small set of measures before launch and report on them in the review rhythm.
Typical ones are the number of qualified conversations per channel, conversion from conversation to quote, quote to close, average sales cycle length and the share of revenue from target segments.
Those numbers come from your CRM or a simple tracker we set up with you, and we reconcile them with invoices so that nobody argues about whose figures are right.
A strategy that cannot be revised after contact with data is a belief, not a strategy.
Where marketing supports sales, we connect the plan to sales KPI dashboards and reporting, so leadership sees the same page we do.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you get in touch.
How long does a sales strategy engagement take?
It depends on the size of the business and the state of your data. A single-product company with a tidy CRM moves faster than a multi-market business with scattered records. We agree the phases and dates after a discovery call, and we write the timeline into the proposal.
Do you need access to our CRM and sales data?
It helps a great deal, and we sign an NDA when asked. If you have no CRM, spreadsheets, quotes, invoices and chat exports are enough to build a first picture, and we can recommend a simple setup through our CRM implementation for sales teams work.
Will you work with our existing sales team?
Yes, and we prefer it. The strategy only holds if the people who sell it contributed to it. We interview reps, run a joint workshop and leave them with the plan, not just the owner.
Is this different from B2B sales consulting?
Strategy is the plan: segments, offer, channels, targets. Our B2B sales consulting is the broader ongoing advisory relationship that can include strategy, coaching and review. Some clients start with the strategy and continue into the wider service.
Can you promise higher revenue?
No, and be careful of anyone who does. We control the quality of the analysis and the plan. Your team, your product and the market control the outcome. What we do commit to is clear targets, honest measurement and changes when the numbers say so.
Can the work be done remotely?
Almost entirely. Interviews, workshops and reviews run over video and phone, with in-person sessions in Lahore by arrangement. You can start with the contact page and a short call.
