A mobile app development company in Pakistan that builds apps people keep using

We are a mobile app development company in Pakistan, based in Gulberg III, Lahore, designing and building iOS and Android apps for startups, retailers, service businesses and enterprises in Pakistan, the UK, UAE, USA and beyond. We plan the product, build it, release it to the stores and keep it healthy afterwards.

By Junaid Tariq Reviewed October 2026

  • Product thinking first: scope, flows and measurement agreed before code
  • Cross-platform and native builds, chosen by need and not by habit
  • Store release, analytics and support handled through to launch and after

Positioning: apps as business tools, not trophies

Plenty of companies commission an app because a competitor has one, then discover that nobody opens it. Apps pay off when they do something a website cannot do as well: send timely reminders, work offline, use the camera or location, speed up repeat purchases, or give staff tools in the field.

We start every conversation by asking which of those jobs your app has.

Our team has spent more than 18 years in digital delivery, building websites, software and marketing programmes for over 500 clients in 48 countries. That mix matters for apps. We can build the product and also advise on how it will be found, installed and used, because we run the paid media, SEO and analytics that make installs happen.

We work as a delivery partner with named leads, written scopes and regular demos. If an app is the wrong answer, we will say so and point you to a better one, such as a faster mobile site or a website development company project.

Choosing between native, cross-platform and web

The platform choice shapes cost, speed and user experience.

Native apps, written separately in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android, give the best access to device features and the most polished feel, at the price of two codebases.

Cross-platform frameworks such as React Native and Flutter let one team build both apps, which suits most business products.
A progressive web app skips the stores entirely and works for simple tasks, though it cannot do everything a store app can.
Our rule of thumb is simple.

If your app is mostly forms, lists, maps, payments, notifications and content, cross-platform is usually the sensible choice.

If it depends on heavy graphics, demanding camera or audio processing, wearables or the newest platform features, native is worth considering.

If it is mostly information that people open occasionally, a good mobile website may be enough.

Our comparison, Flutter vs React Native vs native, sets out the trade-offs in more detail.

We make the recommendation with you at the start of the project, with reasons written down, and revisit it if requirements change.

Design that respects thumbs, small screens and slow networks

Good app design is mostly restraint.

A phone screen has room for one main task at a time, a thumb reaches the bottom half more easily than the top and users switch to something else the moment a screen feels slow.

We design the primary action of every screen first, cut fields that are not needed and test prototypes with real users before any code is written.

Accessibility is part of the work, not an extra.

Text must scale, tap targets must be big enough, colour contrast must be readable in sunlight and screens must make sense with a screen reader.

These practices help everyone and are increasingly expected by app stores and enterprise buyers.

We also design for the empty and broken states people forget: what a new user sees before any data exists, what happens when a request fails, what a list looks like with a thousand items. Those moments are where an app earns or loses trust.

Deliverables across a typical app project

Deliverables are listed per project, and these are the usual ones.

  • Product brief and scopeGoals, users, feature list and first-release boundaries, written and agreed.
  • UX and UI designWireframes, visual design and an interactive prototype tested on real phones.
  • App developmentProduction code with version control, automated checks and clear structure.
  • Backend and APIsServers, databases, authentication and admin tools that the app depends on.
  • Third-party integrationsPayments, maps, messaging, analytics, CRM, ERP and courier services connected and tested.
  • Testing and releaseDevice testing, security checks, store listings and submission to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Analytics and monitoringEvent tracking, crash reporting and dashboards from day one.
  • Post-launch supportBug-fix window, then maintenance for OS updates, security and improvements.

Process from idea to store listing

The same stages apply to a small app and a large platform, in different depth.

  1. Get ConsultationWe listen to your idea, review existing systems and say whether an app, a website or something else fits.
  2. Discovery and designWorkshops, user flows, wireframes and a clickable prototype that you can test before development.
  3. Architecture and setupTechnology decisions, environments, repositories and release pipeline established.
  4. Build in sprintsFortnightly builds delivered to your phone through TestFlight and Google Play testing.
  5. Quality assuranceFunctional, performance and security testing across devices and OS versions.
  6. LaunchStore submission, staged rollout and monitoring, with a team ready to respond to early feedback.
  7. Grow and maintainRelease plan, analytics review and updates as the product learns from real users.

Technology stack behind our apps

On the front end we mostly use React Native with TypeScript, with Flutter, Swift and Kotlin where the project calls for them.

Backends are built with Laravel, Node.js or ASP.NET Core, depending on your team and existing systems.

Data lives in PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server, with Redis for caching and queues.
Firebase supplies push messaging, analytics and crash reporting in many projects.

Maps and routing use Google Maps Platform or alternatives.

Payments depend on your business location and the gateways available to you, and we confirm current onboarding requirements early because they change. Releases flow through automated pipelines, so every build is repeatable.

If your core system is on .NET, our ASP.NET development services team builds the APIs behind the app.

For PHP stacks, our Laravel development group does the same, and the software development services page covers the wider engineering practice.

Security, privacy and store compliance

Apps hold personal data, sometimes payments and often location.

We build authentication properly, protect data in transit and at rest, keep secrets out of the app bundle and restrict what each API call can return.

Permissions are requested when the feature needs them, with a clear reason, which is both better practice and a store requirement.

Apple and Google both require privacy disclosures and set rules on payments, account deletion, user-generated content and what data can be collected. The rules change, so we check them at submission time and not from memory.

A rejected release costs days, and most rejections come from missing disclosures or unclear login flows that can be avoided.
If your app handles health, financial or children's data, regulations may apply in your market.

We recommend taking legal advice on those obligations, and we build the technical controls that follow from your counsel's guidance.

Ways to engage us and what moves the price

App projects can be priced as a fixed scope, as a monthly dedicated team or as a capped time-and-materials arrangement.

For new products we suggest a short paid discovery, then a defined first release, then a monthly arrangement for further development. This limits risk on both sides and prevents a large commitment based on a guess.

We do not quote without context because the same sentence, an app like Uber for plumbers, can describe a project of very different sizes.

The drivers are the number of user roles, the number and complexity of screens, backend depth, integrations, real-time features such as chat and live tracking, offline needs, design polish, languages, compliance and the number of platforms.

Existing assets such as a stable API or a brand system reduce effort.
Rates are quoted in USD for international clients, with milestone-based payments.

We sign NDAs before detailed discussions and the app, accounts and code belong to you.

For a first view of cost factors, contact us with a short description of the idea.

Connecting apps to the systems you already run

Few apps live alone.

A sales app needs the CRM. An ordering app needs stock from an ERP or a store platform. A field-service app needs jobs from a dispatch system and invoices in accounting.

The unglamorous work of connecting them decides whether the app is trusted by staff.

We map each data flow before building: which system owns the record, how often it syncs, what happens when two edits collide and who is alerted when a sync fails. Where your systems have good APIs the work is straightforward.

Where they do not, we use file exchange or build a small adapter, and tell you plainly how fragile that makes things.
Offline behaviour deserves its own decision.

Field teams in areas with weak coverage need to capture data without a connection and send it later, which means storing changes locally and resolving conflicts.

It adds effort, so we only include it where the use case needs it.

Sectors and use cases

Retailers and fashion brands want direct customer channels.

Restaurants and cloud kitchens want to stop paying commission on repeat orders. Service businesses, from home repair to clinics, need booking and field tools.

Schools and training providers want learning on phones.

Manufacturers and distributors want order-taking and field-sales apps. Startups need a first product that is credible enough to raise money or win customers.

Our marketing experience gives us a view of what happens after launch.

See our work for ecommerce stores, restaurants and SaaS and software companies, where app launches and acquisition often go together.

From launch to growth: getting installs and keeping users

An app launch is the beginning of the work.

We help plan store listing text and screenshots, deep links from your website, install tracking and a launch sequence that reaches existing customers first.

Early reviews matter, so we recommend inviting satisfied users first and building a gentle in-app prompt rather than begging.
Paid acquisition for apps needs care.

Installs are cheap to buy and expensive to waste. We tie campaigns to what happens after install, such as registration or first order, so budgets go where real users come from.

Our Google Ads management and Meta ads management teams run those campaigns and share data with the product team.

Retention comes from usefulness, not from nagging.

We set up cohort reports and test one change at a time: onboarding flow, notification timing, a reorder shortcut. Over months those small, measured changes do more for a product than a large redesign.

Keeping an app healthy after release

Phones, operating systems and store rules change every year.

An app left alone for twelve months can start to break, lose visibility or fail a store check.

Maintenance means updating libraries, testing against new OS versions, fixing crashes found in reports and renewing certificates and keys before they expire.

We offer maintenance plans with defined response times and monthly reviews of crash reports, performance and user feedback.

You can also take the code in-house at any point, since we document the project and hand over repositories, accounts and build scripts. The plan is there for businesses that prefer one accountable team over a rota of freelancers.

Delivery for Pakistan and global clients

Our Lahore team works hours that overlap with the UK and the Gulf and with US mornings.

Demos are scheduled for your time zone and recorded for people who miss them. A shared board shows every task and decision, so you never have to ask what is happening.

In Pakistan, apps meet particular conditions.

Android devices dominate and many are mid-range. Mobile data can be slow or costly. Cash on delivery and mobile wallets are common alongside cards.

WhatsApp is often the real customer service channel, and Urdu sits beside English.

We design for these facts from the start: light app size, resilient loading, bilingual interfaces and payment options that fit.

For overseas clients we offer clean contracts, USD invoicing and accounts opened in your name.

We support clients in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Europe.

See our global clients page for more on how remote delivery works.

Proof by method: how we judge an app

We agree success measures before development: activation, retention, crash-free sessions, task completion and, where relevant, orders or bookings. Dashboards for these are set up before launch, and you have access to them.

We make no promises about downloads, ratings or revenue, since these depend on market, marketing and product fit.

We do commit to a fast, stable and tracked app, regular reports, and honest advice about what to change next.

A look at our case studies shows how we document results across other services.

Reasons to hold back on an app

Do not build an app if you cannot yet explain why a customer would install it, if your website already does the job on mobile, or if you have no budget to promote it.

Do not build one to solve a business problem that is really about pricing, staff or supply.

And be careful with ideas that depend on many users joining at once, such as social networks and marketplaces, unless you have a plan to seed both sides.

A cheaper first step is often an MVP with a limited feature set.

Our post on MVP development: what to build first explains how to choose, and the app development blog has guides for specific app types.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you get in touch.

What does a mobile app development company in Pakistan offer to overseas clients?

Skilled developers, overlapping working hours with the UK, Gulf and US mornings, USD invoicing, NDAs and contracts, and costs that are usually lower than in your home market. The value comes from process and communication as much as price, so ask for scoped plans, regular demos and code ownership.

How long does it take to build an app?

A focused first release can take a few months. Marketplaces with several apps and real-time features take longer. We provide a phased plan after discovery and avoid fixed dates before understanding the scope.

How much does an app cost?

It depends on features, platforms, integrations, design and backend work, so we quote after a consultation or discovery phase. The most useful early step is to define a small first release and keep the rest in a backlog.

Should I build for iPhone, Android or both?

That depends on your customers. In Pakistan Android reaches more people, while customers in the US, UK and Gulf markets may skew toward iPhone. A cross-platform build usually covers both at a fair cost.

Do you publish the app on the stores for me?

We handle the technical submission, listings, screenshots and review responses, using developer accounts opened in your company's name. Apple and Google rules change, so we check current requirements at the time.

Can you build the backend and admin panel too?

Yes. Most apps need servers, a database, authentication and an admin dashboard. We build them with Laravel, Node.js or ASP.NET Core, and connect to systems you already use.

What happens after launch?

We offer a support window for fixes and then maintenance plans covering OS updates, security patches, monitoring and new features. Apps need continued care, as phones and store rules change every year.

Can you improve or take over an existing app?

Often yes. We review the code, architecture and store data first, and tell you honestly whether to repair, refactor or rebuild. You can get in touch to start with a review.
