Android app development that runs well on the phones your customers actually own
We design, build and launch native Android apps in Kotlin for businesses, startups and agencies that need to reach the largest phone audience in their market. It suits teams who want an app people keep installed, not a demo that only works on a flagship handset.

- Play Store setup, signing and release handled end to end
- Clear ownership: you hold the source code and developer account
Android as the first platform for your market
In Pakistan, most people carry an Android phone, and the same is true across a large part of the Gulf, South Asia, Africa and Latin America. If your customers sit in those markets, an Android app is not the second release you get to later.
It is the product. Even for US and UK businesses, Android matters when your users are field staff, drivers, warehouse teams or shoppers who use mid-range devices.
Our Android work is native: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose where it fits, and the same architecture patterns Google documents for production apps. Native gives you the smoothest scrolling, the best access to the camera, Bluetooth, background services and notifications, and the fewest surprises when Android releases a new version. We have delivered 500+ websites and many software products over 18+ years, and the habits that keep a web platform stable, such as version control, staging and written handovers, carry straight into mobile.
If you are still deciding between native and cross-platform, read our comparison of Flutter, React Native and native first. We will tell you plainly when Flutter app development is the cheaper route to both stores.
Problems an Android app solves
These are the situations where clients come to us, and what the app changes.
Customers who live on mobile
Repeat orders, bookings or content views are far easier through an installed app with push notifications than through a mobile website people have to remember.
Staff working away from a desk
Delivery riders, sales reps, inspectors and technicians need forms, maps, photo capture and offline mode that a web page handles badly.
Weak or unstable connectivity
Offline-first design, local storage and sync queues keep the app useful on patchy mobile data, a daily reality in many cities and most rural areas.
Hardware integration
Barcode scanning, Bluetooth printers, NFC, GPS tracking and biometric login all work better when the app talks to the device directly.
Ageing in-house apps
Old Java code, abandoned libraries and screens that break on new Android versions can be rebuilt or migrated step by step.
A web product that needs an app
If you already run a web platform, we connect the app to the same data through a clean API instead of building everything twice.
Why trust this team with your build
For Android App Development, projects live or die on maintainability. Here is what stands behind the delivery.
Hands-on experience
500+ websites and web applications delivered over 18+ years for clients in 48 countries, the experience behind your Android App Development project.
Certified expertise
For Android App Development, engineering is planned together with SEO, speed and reporting, so what ships is findable, fast and measurable rather than just finished.
Recognised work
Led by Junaid Tariq, a National Level Award Winner in Digital Marketing who also builds WordPress plugins, CRMs and web applications. See the about page.
Transparent by default
A written scope and milestones before build, code and documentation handed over at the end and hosting or domain accounts kept in your name.
Deliverables in an Android build
A typical Android engagement produces these deliverables. Scope shifts with your product, but nothing here is hidden extra work.
- Discovery and scope documentUser roles, core flows, screens, integrations and a ranked feature list, so version one stays small enough to ship.
- Interface designMaterial Design based screens for phones and, where needed, tablets, built with our mobile app UI/UX design team.
- Kotlin applicationClean architecture, dependency injection, local database, secure token storage and crash reporting from day one.
- Backend connectionIntegration with your existing API, or a new service built with our app backend and API development work.
- Device and OS testingManual and automated testing across screen sizes, Android versions and low-memory devices, not only the emulator.
- Play Store releaseStore listing, screenshots, privacy and data safety forms, signing keys and staged rollout through Google Play Console.
- Analytics and monitoringFirebase Analytics and Crashlytics wired to the events that matter to your business.
- HandoverSource code in your repository, build instructions, API documentation and a recorded walkthrough.

From idea to Play Store
The order matters more than the speed. Skipping the early steps is the most common reason apps overrun.
- Discovery workshopWe agree the audience, the one job the app must do well, and what waits for version two. You receive a written scope and a milestone plan.
- Design and prototypeClickable screens are reviewed with you and, ideally, five real users before any code is written.
- Build in short cyclesWorking builds are delivered every one to two weeks to a private test channel so you see progress on a real phone.
- Test on real devicesWe test on budget, mid-range and flagship handsets, on slow networks, and with interruptions such as calls and low battery.
- Release and monitorInternal and closed testing first, then a staged production rollout while we watch crash reports and early reviews.
- IterateWe prioritise fixes and features from real usage data, with the option of a monthly plan under app maintenance and support.
Android tooling and libraries
We pick tools for maintainability, not novelty.
Layer | Typical choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
Language | Kotlin | Google's preferred language, concise and safe with null values |
Interface | Jetpack Compose or XML views | Compose for new work, XML where an older codebase needs it |
Local data | Room database, DataStore | Reliable offline storage and settings |
Networking | Retrofit, OkHttp | Mature HTTP handling with certificate and token controls |
Services | Firebase Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Remote Config | Push, stability tracking and safe feature switches |
Backend | Laravel, Node or your existing API | Chosen to match your team; see Laravel API development |
Release | Android App Bundle, Play Console, CI pipeline | Smaller downloads and repeatable builds |
Play Store policy and release discipline
Apps are reviewed, but policy on data safety declarations, permissions, target API levels and account verification changes regularly, and an app that ignores those updates can be restricted or removed.
We read the current Play Console requirements at the start of each project and again before each release, because what was true last year may not be true now.
A delivery app that asks for contacts, call logs and SMS access without a clear reason will lose installs and may fail review.
Location, camera and notification permissions are requested at the moment of use, with a plain explanation, which also improves acceptance.
Staged rollouts let us release to a small slice of users first, watch crash-free rates and ANR reports, and widen only when the build is stable. If a problem appears we halt the rollout instead of apologising to every user.
Scope, cost and timeline drivers for Android
We quote after discovery. These are the factors that move the number, and we explain each one in the proposal. For a wider view, see our guide on the cost of building a mobile app in Pakistan.
Number of screens and user roles
A customer-only app is a different job from one with customers, drivers and an admin panel.
Integrations
Payment gateways, maps, SMS, WhatsApp Business, accounting or ERP connections each add build and testing time.
Offline requirements
Working without internet means local storage, conflict handling and sync logic, which is a real design task.
Backend status
An existing, documented API shortens the job. A missing one means we build it too.
Design depth
Custom animation and brand-specific components take longer than standard Material components.
Devices supported
Supporting older Android versions and very low-end phones increases the testing load.
Cases where Android alone is the wrong call
If your customers are mostly in the US, UK or Australia and skew towards premium buyers, iPhone usage may be higher than Android in your audience.
In that case start with iOS app development or build both through a shared codebase. We say this early because a wrong first platform wastes months.
If a simple mobile-friendly web app or a WhatsApp-based flow can test demand in four weeks, do that first.
We will build the app once there is evidence people want it, and our MVP development for startups team can help you scope that test.
Apps need updates for new OS versions, new device behaviour and store policy changes. Budget for that, or the app will age badly within a year.
Proof by method, not by slogan
Proof on an app project is mostly method: an agreed definition of done for every feature, build demos on real devices, crash-free session rates read from Crashlytics, and release notes you can check.
For a commerce app that may be completed orders and checkout drop-off. For a field app it may be forms submitted offline and synced without error.
Those numbers belong to your business, and we give you the dashboard access to see them yourself.
Because we also run paid acquisition for clients, with $20M+ in ad spend managed, we can connect install campaigns to in-app events when you are ready to grow, rather than handing you an app and walking away.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you get in touch.
How long does it take to build an Android app?
It depends on the number of screens, integrations and roles, so we give a range only after discovery. A focused first version that does one job well ships far sooner than a feature-heavy app. We plan in milestones so you see working builds throughout.
Do you build in Kotlin or Java?
New projects are built in Kotlin, which Google recommends for Android. We also maintain and migrate older Java code, usually replacing it screen by screen so the app stays live during the work.
Who owns the code and the Play Store account?
You do. We recommend creating the Google Play Console developer account in your company name and adding us as users. The source code is kept in your repository and handed over with documentation.
Can you work with our existing backend?
Yes. If you have a documented API, we build against it. If not, we can create one, see app backend and API development, or review your current system first to see whether it can support a mobile app.
Will the app work on cheap phones?
That is a design goal, not an afterthought. We test on low-memory devices and older Android versions that your audience really uses, and we keep image sizes, animations and background work under control.
Do you support the app after launch?
Yes. Many clients take a monthly plan covering OS updates, library upgrades, bug fixes and small improvements. If you prefer to manage it in-house we hand over everything needed to do so. You can contact us to talk it through.
Can you help with a Play Console account that is suspended or rejected?
We can review the policy notice, fix the app or listing issue and prepare the appeal or resubmission. We cannot promise reinstatement, because that decision belongs to Google, but most problems come from permissions, data declarations or misleading listing text that can be corrected.
