WordPress website development in Pakistan that turns visitors into enquiries

We design, build, speed up, secure and maintain WordPress websites for businesses in Pakistan and abroad, from a Gulberg III office in Lahore. It suits owners who want a site they can edit, rank and rely on, delivered by a team with 18+ years in web development and 500+ websites behind it.

By Junaid Tariq Reviewed October 2026

  • 500+ websites delivered for clients in 48 countries
  • Built for search and speed from the first wireframe, not patched afterwards
  • One accountable team from design to hosting, security and support

A WordPress partner that thinks like a marketer

Most websites do not fail because of the code. They fail because nobody decided what the site was for.

A homepage that lists everything the company has ever done, a contact form buried three clicks deep and a theme chosen for its demo images produce a site that looks fine and does little. Our approach to WordPress website development in Pakistan starts from the business: what you sell, who buys, what they search for and what action should follow.

WordPress runs a very large share of the web for good reasons. It is flexible, your team can edit it without code, it has a huge developer pool and it can grow from a five-page brochure to a store or a content publication. It also has weak points: plugin sprawl, slow themes and neglected updates. Our work is about getting the benefits and managing the risks.

Junaid Tariq's background is in digital marketing, with 18+ years in SEO, paid advertising and lead generation alongside development. That means the sites we build are planned with search, tracking and conversion in mind. If you want the broader marketing view, our website development company page shows how design, build and promotion connect.

Expertise

Certified expertise

For WordPress Website Development, engineering is planned together with SEO, speed and reporting, so what ships is findable, fast and measurable rather than just finished.

Authoritativeness

Recognised work

Led by Junaid Tariq, a National Level Award Winner in Digital Marketing who also builds WordPress plugins, CRMs and web applications. See the about page.

Trustworthiness

Transparent by default

A written scope and milestones before build, code and documentation handed over at the end and hosting or domain accounts kept in your name.

Scope of the WordPress service line

The WordPress service line runs from first build to long-term care.

New sites and redesigns are built either with Elementor, where your team wants visual control, or with a lighter custom theme where performance and structure matter most.

Our Elementor website development page explains the builder route in depth.

Existing sites get specialist help.

WordPress speed optimization finds why pages load slowly and fixes it.

WordPress security hardening tightens logins, permissions and backups.

WordPress migration services move a site to new hosting or a new domain without losing traffic.

And WordPress maintenance and support keeps the site updated and working month after month.

Beyond those, we build custom plugins and integrations, WooCommerce stores, membership and booking features, multilingual sites with Urdu and English, and landing pages for paid campaigns. Each page in the grid below describes a specific service in full.

Deliverables on a typical build

Deliverables depend on size, but these items appear on most builds.

  • Strategy and sitemapPage list, content plan and navigation based on how your customers search and decide.
  • Design systemFonts, colours, spacing and components defined once and reused across all pages.
  • Responsive buildLayouts tested on phones, tablets and desktops, since most visitors in Pakistan arrive on mobile.
  • Content structureServices, locations, team and case study templates so adding pages later is quick.
  • SEO foundationHeading structure, metadata, schema markup, XML sitemap, redirects and Search Console setup.
  • TrackingGA4 events for calls, forms and WhatsApp clicks, so you can see what brings enquiries.
  • Speed and security setupCaching, image handling, firewall rules, backups and login protection from day one.
  • Training and handoverRecorded walkthrough, editing guide and all accounts in your name.

Stages from brief to launch

We keep the same order on every build so there are no unpleasant surprises.

  1. Discovery callWe learn about your business, customers, competitors and existing site, and decide whether WordPress is the right base.
  2. Plan and quoteYou receive a sitemap, scope list, timeline and a fixed or phased quote tied to deliverables.
  3. DesignKey pages are designed for desktop and mobile. You approve the look before development starts.
  4. Development on stagingThe site is built on a private staging copy. You review progress at agreed checkpoints.
  5. Content, SEO and testingCopy and images go in, metadata and redirects are set, and we test forms, speed, browsers and devices.
  6. Launch and aftercareWe go live in a planned window, confirm indexing and tracking and stay close for the first weeks.

Typical timelines by project type

Ranges depend on content readiness and approval speed. Slow feedback is the biggest cause of delay.

Moderate, with redirect mapping
URL changes and content clean-up
WooCommerce store
Longer, with payments and shipping setup
Catalogue size, gateways, couriers
Membership or booking site
Longer, with custom features
Roles, payments and notifications
Speed or security fix
Short, audit led
Hosting access and site condition

Problems we are usually called in to solve

Many projects begin as rescue work. These are the situations we see most.

The site nobody can update

A developer built it with hard-coded layouts, and every change needs a call. We rebuild templates so staff can edit safely.

Slow pages and warnings in Search Console

A heavy theme, too many plugins and huge images. We trace the cause and fix it in order of impact.

Traffic lost after a redesign

URLs changed and nobody mapped redirects. We repair what can be repaired and set up monitoring.

A hacked or flagged site

Spam pages, redirects or a browser warning. We clean it, find the entry point and harden the site.

A site that looks good but brings no enquiries

Weak structure, no tracking and unclear calls to action. We rework the pages that matter most.

Plugin overload

Thirty add-ons doing the work of five. We consolidate, replace the risky ones and keep what earns its place.

Technology and tools

We choose from a stable, well-supported set rather than chasing trends.

WordPress core and block editor

The base platform, kept current and configured for security.

Elementor and lightweight themes

Visual building on a minimal theme, or custom themes where performance is critical.

WooCommerce

Online stores with local payment methods, cash on delivery and international gateways.

ACF and custom post types

Structured content for services, properties, courses or products.

Rank Math or Yoast

On-page SEO controls, schema and sitemaps. We choose per project.

Tag Manager, GA4, Search Console

Measurement, from clicks to qualified enquiries.

WordPress or something else

WordPress is not the answer to everything.

For a store that will grow quickly into thousands of products with complex fulfilment, a dedicated commerce platform may be easier to run, and our Shopify development team can advise.

For applications with complex logic, user accounts and heavy data work, a framework such as Laravel is the stronger base.

We compared the options in our Elementor versus custom theme guide.

We recommend WordPress when your site is mainly about content, services, lead generation or moderate ecommerce and your team wants to manage it. We say so plainly when it is not the best fit, because a wrong platform choice is expensive to undo.

Our policy on plugins, themes and custom code

Plugins are WordPress's greatest convenience and its biggest source of trouble.

Every plugin adds code that someone else maintains, and each one can slow the site, conflict with another or become a security risk when its author stops updating it.

Our rule is simple: use a well-maintained plugin when it does exactly one job well, write a small piece of custom code when a plugin would bring far more than needed, and never install anything pirated or unsupported.

For themes, we favour a lightweight base with a documented design system over a multipurpose theme with hundreds of options you will never use. That choice keeps pages quick and makes later redesigns cheaper.

When a client brings a ready-made theme, we audit it first and tell you honestly whether it is a good foundation.

Where custom features are needed, our work on plugin development keeps functionality out of the theme, so a redesign does not destroy it.

Hosting is part of the same conversation. A cheap overloaded shared server can undo months of design work.

We advise on hosting that suits your traffic and audience, with caching, current PHP, regular backups and a location close to your visitors, and we help set it up under your own account.

Search and content planning inside the build

A website that cannot be found is an expensive brochure.

We map pages to real searches before design starts: which services people look for, in what words, in which cities, and in English, Roman Urdu or Urdu script.

That research decides the sitemap, the headings and the internal links, not an afterthought pass of keywords at the end.
Content is the other half.

Pages that answer questions properly, show real work and make it easy to contact you perform better than thin pages stuffed with phrases.

We can write or edit copy, brief your team on what to supply, and set up the blog structure so articles support service pages.

Image handling, alt text, schema for local businesses and FAQs, and a clean URL structure all go in during the build, which is cheaper than retrofitting them.

When you want ongoing organic growth, our SEO agency team works from the same foundations rather than starting over.

One caution applies.

Moving an existing site to WordPress or redesigning it is the moment most traffic is lost. We take an inventory of current URLs and rankings first, keep what works and redirect the rest.

WordPress compared with the alternatives

A quick map of where WordPress fits. We will tell you if another route serves you better.

Option
Best for
Watch out for
WordPress with a builder
Business sites your team edits often
Plugin and builder bloat if unmanaged
WordPress with a custom theme
Performance-led content sites
Slower for editors who want visual control
WooCommerce
Small to mid-size stores
Needs tuning as the catalogue grows
Hosted store platform
Fast-growing stores that want less upkeep
Monthly fees and platform limits
Laravel or PHP framework
Portals, SaaS, complex logic
Higher build cost, more developer dependence
Website builders
Very small, short-lived sites
Limited SEO control and export options

Engagement models

We offer a few ways of working, so the arrangement fits how you buy.

Fixed-scope project

A defined set of pages and features for an agreed price, best when requirements are clear.

Phased build

A smaller first release followed by additions, useful when budget or content is limited.

Monthly retainer

Ongoing development, optimisation and care, suited to growing sites and stores.

Dedicated developer hours

A block of developer time for in-house marketing teams or agencies.

Rescue and audit

A short engagement to diagnose and fix a troubled site before deciding what comes next.

White-label for agencies

We build behind your brand with clear handover and NDA cover.

Factors that shape cost

We do not publish prices on this page, because the factors differ so much between projects. See our web design packages for typical starting structures, or ask for a custom quote.

Page and template count

Unique layouts cost more than repeating templates.

Custom functionality

Booking, calculators, portals and integrations are separate pieces of development.

Content work

Copywriting, photography and translation add effort when not supplied.

Ecommerce complexity

Variants, shipping rules, payment gateways and stock sync raise scope.

Languages

Urdu and English, or Arabic, mean right-to-left layouts and duplicate content.

SEO ambition

Large content plans and migrations with many redirects need more planning.

Questions to ask any WordPress developer

Use these when comparing us with other providers. A good answer is specific.

  • Who owns the site and accounts?Hosting, domain and admin accounts should be in your name from day one.
  • Where will my site be built and tested?A private staging site, not the live domain, with a review at each checkpoint.
  • How do you handle speed?Ask for mobile test results on real templates, not only a desktop score.
  • What happens to my SEO if I redesign?Look for a redirect map, a content inventory and post-launch checks.
  • Who fixes problems after launch?A named person, a response time and a clear scope for support.
  • Which plugins will you install, and why? Each one should have a reason, a maintainer and an update history.
  • What will you not do?Honest providers state limits, such as no guaranteed rankings.

Clients and sectors we build for

Our clients range from clinics, schools and law firms to manufacturers, exporters, software companies and online retailers.
Local businesses in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Sialkot use us for sites that bring in calls and WhatsApp enquiries.

Exporters and B2B firms use us to look credible to buyers abroad.

Stores use us to handle local payments and cash on delivery alongside card payments.
Industry knowledge shapes the build.

A clinic site needs appointment flows and careful claims. A manufacturer needs product catalogues and RFQ forms. An ecommerce brand needs speed and trust signals.

See how this connects to our ecommerce store marketing work and our work portfolio for examples of finished sites.

Pakistan and global delivery

Our team works from Gulberg III in Lahore.

For clients in Pakistan that means meetings in person if you wish, WhatsApp communication, local payment methods and an understanding of connectivity and hosting realities.

For clients in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Europe, it means a remote workflow with documented progress, shared staging links and working hours that overlap with your day.

We invoice international clients in USD and sign NDAs where needed.

Time zones are handled with a fixed weekly update and a named point of contact.

The deeper guide on why outsource to Pakistan covers the questions foreign buyers ask.

Experience with 48 countries has taught us what international clients expect from a remote development partner.

Proof by method, not slogans

We back our work with process and measurement.

Before launch, we test speed on mobile connections, check structured data and confirm tracking.

After launch, we use Search Console and GA4 to see whether pages are indexed, which pages bring enquiries and where visitors drop off. Our case studies describe how we report.

Google Ads and Analytics certifications, Facebook Blueprint Foundations and a National Level Award in Digital Marketing support what the team does, but the more useful evidence is method: staging sites, written scopes, documented handovers and accounts in your name.

We do not promise rankings or traffic from a website alone.

A good site gives search and ads a strong place to send people, and our Google Ads management team can take it from there.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you get in touch.

How much does WordPress website development in Pakistan cost?

It depends on page count, custom features, content work and integrations, so we quote after a discovery call. A brochure site and a multilingual store are very different projects. You get a written scope and a price tied to deliverables, with no surprise extras.

How long does it take to build a WordPress website?

A small business site can take a few weeks if content is ready. Larger sites, stores and custom builds take longer. The most common delay is waiting for text and images, so we agree a content plan at the start.

Will my site rank on Google?

A well-built site gives you the technical and structural basics. Rankings depend on competition, content and links, and nobody can guarantee a position. We set the site up properly and can continue with SEO work if you want it.

Can I edit the website myself?

Yes. We build with editable templates and provide training and a guide. You keep admin access, and the design system keeps pages consistent when staff make changes.

Do you build online stores on WordPress?

Yes, using WooCommerce, with local payment methods, cash on delivery and international gateways where available to your business. For very large catalogues, we may suggest other platforms.

Who owns the website, hosting and domain?

You do. Domain, hosting, licences and admin accounts are registered in your name. We keep documentation of everything so another developer can step in if needed.

Do you work with clients outside Pakistan?

Yes. We have served clients in 48 countries, including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Europe, with USD invoicing and scheduled calls in your time zone.

What happens after the site goes live?

We monitor indexing, forms and speed in the first weeks, then you can choose self-management, a support plan or project-based help. You can start with a conversation on our contact page.
