Google Ads audit & optimization that shows where your budget really goes
We run a structured Google Ads audit & optimization for accounts that spend steadily but cannot explain the results: tracking, structure, keywords, ads, bidding, landing pages and reporting are checked, then fixed in priority order. It suits advertisers who suspect waste, have inherited an agency account, or want a second opinion before spending more.

An outside view of your account
Most Google Ads accounts drift. Campaigns are added during busy weeks, keywords accumulate, conversion actions are changed by whoever last had access and nobody checks the search terms report after the first month.
Over a year, the account ends up serving customers you never intended to target, at prices you never agreed to pay.
An audit stops the drift. We open the account with read-only access, examine every layer and compare what Google Ads reports with GA4, your CRM and your sales records. The question is simple: is this budget finding the customers who pay you, and if not, where is it leaking?
This is not a sales pitch for a bigger budget. In several reviews the right advice has been to spend less on some campaigns, pause others and put the savings behind the two or three that clearly work. We have managed more than $20M in ad spend, and most of what we have learned about waste came from fixing accounts like yours.
A last note on what you receive. The report is written for decision-makers, not for other PPC specialists: a one-page summary, a ranked list of problems, screenshots from your account and a short list of tests worth running. If you take it to another agency or your in-house team, they can act on it without our help.
Areas covered in the review
The audit is a checklist, but the findings are written in plain language, not a generic template.
- Conversion trackingWhich actions count, whether they double-count, whether values are right and whether offline sales or calls are fed back to Google.
- Account and campaign structureWhether campaigns separate products, services, locations and intent so budget goes where it should.
- Keywords and match typesOverlap, cannibalisation, broad match without safeguards and missing negatives.
- Search term analysisReal queries that triggered ads, grouped into valuable, harmless and wasteful.
- Ad copy and assetsRelevance, message variety, extensions or assets and how ads match the landing page.
- Bidding and budgetsStrategy fit for your data volume, budget limits, targets and recent changes.
- Audience and location settingsTargeting reach, exclusions, device and schedule adjustments, and network settings.
- Landing pages and follow-upSpeed, message match, form friction and how quickly your team answers enquiries.

- Findings callWe walk you through the report live, show examples from your own account and agree what to fix first.
- OptimisationIf you want us to implement, we make changes in controlled batches and log them. Otherwise you receive a clear to-do document.

Typical findings and the usual remedy
Patterns that appear across industries, from clinics to online stores.
Finding | Why it hurts | Usual remedy |
|---|---|---|
Duplicate or inflated conversions | Smart bidding learns from false signals | Remove or re-categorise goals; rebuild primary conversions |
Broad match with no negatives | Irrelevant queries consume budget | Add negative lists and review match strategy |
One campaign for every service | High and low value leads share one budget | Split by service and margin |
Display network on by default | Low-intent placements inflate clicks | Switch off or separate and monitor |
Weak landing page match | Good clicks fail to convert | Align headline and offer; fix form and speed |
Quality score ignored | Higher costs per click for the same position | Fix ad relevance and page experience |
Optimisation work that can follow
After the audit, you choose how far to take it.
Tracking repair
New or corrected conversion actions, enhanced conversions and CRM imports.
Restructure
Campaign rebuilds around services, locations or product groups.
Search clean-up
Negative keyword lists, match-type changes and query mapping.
Creative refresh
New ad copy, assets and extensions aligned to the offer.
Bidding changes
Moving to or away from automated strategies when the data supports it.
Pricing factors and how we scope
The main factors are the number of campaigns and accounts, the markets and languages involved, whether tracking spans several platforms, whether we implement the fixes and how much historical data is available.
You do not have to switch to us as your agency to buy the first.
Situations where an audit is the wrong purchase
If the account has almost no spend or data, the findings will be thin and a restart may cost less.
And if your website, offer or sales follow-up is the real problem, no amount of account tuning will rescue the numbers, which we will say plainly.
Our Performance Max campaign management and Google Shopping ads management cover those cases.
Quick wins an audit often finds
Not every account has all of these, but most have two or three.
Wasted search terms
Irrelevant queries such as jobs, free, courses or DIY that never buy from you.
Wrong location targeting
Presence settings that include people merely interested in a location, not located in it.
Unused assets and extensions
Missing call, location and sitelink assets that improve the look and clicks of ads.
Poorly timed spend
Budgets exhausted by noon, or ads running when nobody answers the phone.
Overlooked mobile experience
Pages that load slowly on phones, which is where most Pakistani traffic arrives.
Delivering from Lahore for accounts worldwide
Start from our PPC advertising agency overview if you also run paid social or other networks.
Proof by method: how we show a fix worked
We record a baseline before any change: spend, conversions, cost per qualified lead or revenue, and the share of spend going to searches judged wasteful.
If something gets worse, we revert and explain.
You also see a change log, so anyone can trace a swing in results to a specific edit.
Our guides on conversion tracking in Google Ads and fixing a poor Quality Score explain two of the most common starting points.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you get in touch.
How long does a Google Ads audit take?
Most reviews take around two to three weeks from access to findings call, longer for very large accounts or several markets. We tell you the timeline once we have seen the account.
What access do you need?
Read-only access to Google Ads is enough to start, plus GA4 and Tag Manager for tracking review. You keep control of the account and can revoke access at any time.
Will you tell me if my current agency is doing a poor job?
We report what we see, factually, with examples from the account. We do not guess at motives. Sometimes the account is sound and the problem lies on the website or in sales follow-up.
Can the audit increase my results on its own?
Fixing real waste and tracking errors tends to improve efficiency, but results depend on your market, offer and budget. We do not promise specific returns.
Do you audit Meta or LinkedIn ads too?
This service covers Google Ads. For Meta campaigns, see our Meta Ads management team. A combined review is possible if both platforms feed one funnel.
Is the audit useful before hiring an agency?
Yes. It gives you a neutral baseline to hold any agency to. You can also read what Quality Score is to prepare your questions.
