YouTube ads management that turns watch time into enquiries
We plan and run YouTube advertising through Google Ads, from the video brief and audience choices to bidding, exclusions and reporting. This youtube ads management service is for brands that have, or can produce, decent video and want attention that leads to action.

Video advertising plays by different rules
YouTube is a search engine and an entertainment platform at once. People arrive with a question, a hobby or a bedtime habit, and your ad appears inside that moment.
That makes it excellent for showing how a product works, building trust before a purchase and reaching people who have never searched for you by name. It also means your video has seconds to earn its place.
The mistakes are predictable. Advertisers upload a polished brand film that opens with a logo, then wonder why the view rate is poor. Or they optimise for cheap views and later discover the audience never intended to buy. We work backward from the action you want, then choose format, length and audience to match.
If you want the background on formats and how costs are set, our post on YouTube ads for business covers the options in detail.
Formats and the jobs they do
Google changes naming and availability from time to time, so we check what is current in your account before planning.
Skippable in-stream
Plays before or during other videos. Suits storytelling and demos, where the first seconds hook and the viewer can then skip or watch on.
In-feed video
Appears in search results and next to related videos. Works when people are actively looking for answers and a thumbnail plus title earn the click.
Bumper ads
Short, non-skippable placements for reminders and recall. Good for supporting a launch, weak for explaining anything.
Shorts placements
Vertical video between Shorts. Cheap reach, short attention, so the creative must be native to the format.
Demand Gen and video action campaigns
Campaign types aimed at conversions across YouTube and other Google surfaces. Available options vary, so we confirm the current set.
Remarketing video
Shown to people who watched your videos or visited your site. Often the best value on the platform.

Creative that holds attention
Viewers on skippable formats decide quickly, so the first lines should state the problem or the payoff, not your history. Faces, motion and a clear voice outperform logo animations.
Add captions, because many people watch with the sound off, and keep a single call to action at the end and, where the format allows, in the on-screen button.
A phone video of a founder demonstrating a product, a clinic doctor answering one patient question, or a walk through a finished project can outperform a studio film, provided audio is clean and the message is specific.
If you work with an agency or editor, we brief them directly.

Production line from strategy to report
A production line that starts with strategy, not uploads.
- Goal, audience and offer reviewWe decide whether the campaign is for awareness, consideration or direct leads, and match it to your sales process.
- Creative briefHook in the first few seconds, one clear message, one call to action, captions for sound-off viewing, and length matched to format.
- Video account structureYour channel linked to Google Ads, with campaigns split by funnel stage so remarketing never competes with cold audiences.
- Targeting buildCustom segments from search terms and URLs, in-market and affinity audiences, topic and keyword placements, and customer lists.
- Exclusions and brand safetyContent-type exclusions, channel and video placement blocks, and regular placement report checks.
- Conversion and engaged-view trackingConversions set up in Google Ads and GA4, with views and engaged views reported but never mistaken for sales.
- Creative testing planTwo or three hooks tested against each other, with the losers retired rather than defended.
- Monthly reportReach, view rate, cost per view, assisted and direct conversions, audience findings and next experiments.
Process from brief to scale
Video takes longer to prepare than text ads, so we plan the calendar around production.
- DiscoveryWe look at your channel, existing footage, website and sales funnel, and set the one result the campaign must support.
- Creative directionScript outline, hook options and format recommendations. We can work from existing videos or advise a producer on new ones.
- Account and tracking set-upChannel linking, audience lists, conversion tags and exclusions are prepared before budget is committed.
- Pilot campaignsSmall tests of two or three creatives across two or three audiences, to learn what earns attention.
- OptimiseWeak audiences, placements and videos are dropped. The winners receive more budget and sequenced follow-up videos.
- Scale and connectRemarketing to viewers, combined with Search campaigns that capture the demand video creates.
Sequencing video with the rest of the funnel
We usually plan a short sequence: an opening ad that names the problem, a follow-up that shows the solution, and a final reminder with an offer for people who watched but did not act.
Without it, the same person sees the same ad many times, which irritates viewers and burns budget. With it, each person moves along a path and stops seeing messages that no longer apply.
For stores, it is a product page or cart. Either way, we agree the final step before the first video is filmed, so the creative leads somewhere that works.
Measuring video performance
Different metrics answer different questions. We use them in the right order.
Metric | What it tells you | Limit |
|---|---|---|
View rate | Whether the opening holds attention | Says nothing about buyer intent |
Cost per view | Cost of earning a view | Cheap views can be low quality |
Engaged-view conversions | Action after meaningful viewing | Needs honest interpretation |
Click conversions | Direct response from the ad | Often lower volume than Search |
Branded search and direct traffic | Whether video lifts demand | Needs a stable comparison period |
Cost per qualified lead | Real value of the campaign | Depends on your lead feedback |
Audience layers we combine
Video works best when the right people are layered, not when targeting is wide open.
Audience | Built from | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
Custom segment | Search terms and URLs people use or visit | Prospecting for intent without search ads |
In-market | Google's purchase-intent groups | Mid-funnel consideration |
Affinity and topics | Interests and content themes | Brand reach, lower intent |
Your data | Site visitors, customer lists, video viewers | Remarketing and similar reach where available |
Placements | Chosen channels, videos or apps | Fine control, higher management effort |
Cost drivers for video campaigns
Ad spend depends on audience competitiveness, country and format. Management depends on the number of campaigns, audiences, markets and creative variants.
Creative is separate: video production can be inexpensive or substantial depending on what you already own, and we never include it silently in a management fee.
If you have no video at all, we say so up front and suggest whether to start with simple screen recordings, product demos or testimonial-style clips before investing further.
Reasons to hold off on YouTube ads
A weak video amplifies a weak message. Businesses with very small budgets also struggle, because the learning data needed to find good audiences takes time and impressions.
We would run Google Ads for lead generation first and add YouTube later for retargeting.
Retail brands can pair video with Shopping campaigns, and display-style reminders sit in our Google Display ads management service.
Working from Lahore
Many Pakistani businesses already create Urdu and English video for social platforms, and those assets can be adapted for YouTube with the right hook and captions.
We manage campaigns for audiences in the USA, UK, UAE and other markets from Gulberg III, with calls timed to your hours and invoices in USD.
Language targeting, subtitles and local references are agreed with you before launch, and we advise against translated ads that sound unnatural.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you get in touch.
How much do YouTube ads cost?
It depends on format, audience, country and competition. Some views cost very little, others are priced like Search clicks. We estimate a testing budget after reviewing your market, and we do not quote a universal figure because none exists. Our lesson on how YouTube ads work and cost explains the pricing models.
Do I need a YouTube channel?
Yes, in practice. Videos are hosted on a channel and linked to Google Ads. We can help set this up, including naming, branding and unlisted video use for ads.
Can I target specific cities or countries?
Yes. Location targeting works down to city and radius level in most markets. For Pakistani businesses we can focus on Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad or the whole country, and for exporters we target buyers in the USA, UK, UAE and elsewhere.
Can YouTube ads generate leads directly?
They can, particularly with strong calls to action and remarketing, but most leads come in combination with Search and retargeting. We track assisted influence so the channel is not judged on last clicks only.
How do you report on YouTube in a way I can trust?
We show views and conversions side by side but never merge them, flag assisted results as assisted, and compare branded search and direct traffic over the same period. If a campaign only produced attention, the report says so.
What length should the video be?
Length depends on format. A short hook that delivers value quickly works better than a long film that starts slowly. We test versions rather than guessing.
How is this different from YouTube SEO?
Ads buy placements. SEO earns organic rankings for your videos. They support each other, and the YouTube ads versus Display lesson helps separate ad products.
Can you work with videos I already have?
Yes. We audit them for hook, length and message, then recommend edits or cuts. Often a good ad is already inside a longer video.
