Meta Pixel & Conversions API setup that shows what your ads really produce
We handle Meta Pixel & Conversions API setup: installing, repairing and verifying both so Facebook and Instagram can see which clicks turn into leads and sales. It suits any advertiser whose reports look wrong, whose results dropped after a browser change or who is about to scale spend.

- Lead and purchase events carrying value and customer match data
- A written event map you can hand to the next developer
Tracking decides what Meta learns
Meta's delivery system learns from the events you send it. If it sees a purchase, it looks for more people like the buyers.
If it only sees page views, it looks for people who view pages. Everything else in your account depends on that signal: audiences, optimisation, reporting and the budget you decide to scale. We see accounts where the pixel fires twice on a thank-you page, where a test lead was counted for months, or where purchase value is missing, and every decision made from those numbers was shaky.
The Pixel runs in the visitor's browser. The Conversions API sends events from your server or tag setup straight to Meta. Using both, with proper deduplication, recovers some data that browsers block or lose. Neither gives perfect numbers, and anyone who promises perfect attribution is selling you something. What you can get is a setup that is consistent, documented and good enough to optimise on. Our post on Meta Pixel versus Conversions API explains the difference in plain terms.
This service suits online stores, lead generation sites, clinics, schools and SaaS firms, in Pakistan and abroad. It is also the first thing we check before taking over any ad account.
Tracking deliverables, item by item
Scope depends on your platform, but a complete setup covers these items.
- Tracking auditReview of current pixel, Events Manager diagnostics, domain verification, aggregated event priorities and any duplicate or missing events.
- Event planA written list of events: view content, add to cart, initiate checkout, purchase, lead, contact or schedule, each with the parameters it should carry.
- Pixel implementationSetup through Google Tag Manager, a platform integration or custom code, depending on the site.
- Conversions API connectionServer-side events through a platform integration, Tag Manager server container or direct connection, matched to your hosting.
- DeduplicationEvent IDs shared between browser and server so a single purchase is not counted twice.
- Customer information parametersHashed email and phone sent where you have consent, which improves matching.
- Testing and sign-offTest events checked in Events Manager and on real transactions, with screenshots and notes.
- Handover documentA short record of what fires where, so future site changes do not break tracking quietly.

A typical implementation
Most setups take a short project when access is available and the site is stable.
- Access and inventoryWe collect access to Business Manager, the site or tag manager and the ad account, and list every tag already running.
- Event designWe agree which actions matter to the business, including WhatsApp clicks, call buttons and form submissions.
- Build and connectPixel events and server events are built, with parameters such as value, currency and content IDs.
- Test with real actionsWe place test orders or submit test leads and watch both channels arrive in Events Manager.
- Fix quality issuesMatch quality warnings, missing parameters and duplicates are corrected.
- Handover and trainingWe walk your team through the event map and show how to read Events Manager so small problems get noticed early.
- Monitor after launchWe recheck after a week and again after site updates, because themes and plugins have a habit of breaking events.

Setup routes compared
The right route depends on your platform and who maintains the site.
Route | Best for | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
Platform integration | Shopify and WooCommerce stores | Fast and low maintenance, with fewer custom options |
Tag Manager web container | Custom or lead-gen sites | Flexible, needs careful testing |
Server-side Tag Manager | Higher volume or privacy-sensitive setups | Better control, extra hosting to manage |
Direct API from your backend | Apps, SaaS and CRM-driven funnels | Most accurate for offline outcomes, needs developer time |
Partner or gateway integrations | Quick start with hosted tools | Less visibility into what is sent |
Effort and timeline drivers
We quote after the audit. These factors change the amount of work.
Platform and theme
Standard stores connect faster than heavily customised sites.
Number of events
A lead site needs a handful. A store with variants, coupons and subscriptions needs more.
Existing mess
Years of old tags, copied code and duplicate pixels take time to untangle.
Server hosting
Server-side setups need a stable host and domain configuration.
Offline conversions
Sending CRM or call outcomes back to Meta needs data access and mapping.
Consent and privacy needs
Customers in some regions need consent handling before tracking fires.
Cases where a different fix comes first
If your ads get no clicks, the creative or offer needs work, as covered in our ad creative and UGC production service.
Fixing the pixel will make that clearer, but it will not repair the page.
Two pixels with different rules produce the confusing, inflated reports we are usually called in to fix.
A small local business with one contact form and a tight budget does not need a server container and a tag management retainer.
We will say so, and keep the setup simple enough that your own team can understand it.
Check current regulations and Meta's business tools terms for your market, and have a legal adviser review consent handling if you collect sensitive data.
Proof by method: verifying that numbers are real
Every event is checked in three places: Events Manager, your website or store admin, and GA4 where relevant.
For a lead site, it means comparing Meta leads with what lands in your inbox, CRM or WhatsApp.
Retargeting and catalog campaigns depend on this foundation, so the work feeds directly into Meta retargeting campaigns and click-to-WhatsApp ads, where conversations need to be counted too.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you get in touch.
Do I still need the pixel if I use the Conversions API?
Yes, in most cases. Meta recommends sending events through both so that each covers gaps in the other, with deduplication to avoid double counts. Server-only setups are possible but lose browser signals that help matching.
Why do my Meta numbers not match my store or CRM?
Attribution windows, browser privacy limits, cross-device journeys and ad blockers all create differences. A small, steady gap is normal. A large or growing gap points to a tracking fault we can find in an audit.
Can you fix a pixel that is already installed?
Yes. Most projects begin with repair. We inspect Events Manager and the site, remove duplicates, correct parameters and document what remains. Read the background in our pixel and Conversions API explainer.
Does this work with WooCommerce and Shopify?
Yes. Both have official integrations that handle much of the work, and we check them for duplicate events and missing parameters. Custom themes and checkout apps often need extra care.
Will tracking changes affect my current campaigns?
They can, because new events change what Meta optimises for. We time changes carefully, avoid resetting learning without reason and explain the likely effects in advance.
Do I need this before running lead generation ads?
Yes. A lead event that fires correctly makes the difference between optimising for real enquiries and for accidental form opens. See our guide to running lead generation ads for the wider setup.
