Instagram ads management that turns scrolling attention into enquiries and orders
We manage Instagram ad campaigns across Reels, Stories and the feed for businesses whose product looks good, or whose customers decide with their eyes. It suits stores, clinics, salons, interior studios and personal brands that already post content and want paid reach that produces enquiries.

- Instagram placements judged on leads and sales, not on likes
- Content, ads and profile aligned so clicks land somewhere that converts
The places Instagram pays, and the places it does not
Instagram rewards visual proof. A before and after, a finished kitchen, a dish being plated, a hair colour, a try-on, a short clip of an engineer fixing a problem: these stop a thumb mid-scroll in a way a text offer rarely does.
That makes it a strong paid channel for categories where seeing is believing, and a weaker one for purchases that depend on dense specification or a long comparison.
The common mistake is treating ads as boosted posts. A post that did well organically is a hint about interest, not a campaign. Paid Instagram needs a defined audience, an offer with a next step, a format chosen for the placement and a destination that carries the idea through. Without those, you get reach and profile visits, then silence in the inbox.
We run Instagram as part of the wider Meta ads management system, so it shares tracking, audiences and reporting with Facebook. That means you can compare the two honestly and move money to whichever produces better customers.

Rollout from brief to steady testing
A normal launch moves through these stages. Timing depends mostly on how quickly creative can be supplied.
- Brief and content auditWe look at your feed, best organic posts, offers and what your customers ask in direct messages.
- Measurement firstWe confirm the pixel, events, link and landing page work on mobile, where most Instagram visits happen.
- Creative sprintWe brief or review a first set of concepts, with at least a few formats so Meta has something to compare.
- Launch and monitorCampaigns start with a controlled number of ad sets. We watch delivery, comments and early quality signals.
- Refine by placementWe compare Reels, Stories and feed performance, and cut placements that bring poor leads.
- Refresh and scaleWinning concepts get variations and budget. Fatigued ads are replaced before costs drift.
Instagram formats compared
Format choice changes what the creative has to do, so we plan each separately.
Format | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
Reels | Reach, demonstration, storytelling | Weak hook in the first seconds, text hidden by interface |
Stories | Direct offers, limited-time promotions | Small safe area, quick swipe-away |
Feed carousel | Catalogues, step-by-step explanation | Only the first card is guaranteed attention |
Feed single image | Simple offers, strong product photos | Looks like an advert, so message must be sharp |
Collection or catalogue ads | Stores with product feeds | Feed quality and stock accuracy |
Click-to-message ads | Chat-based sales | Slow replies waste the click |
Cost drivers and timeline for Instagram work
A brand with a library of clean photos and clips can launch quickly.
We separate those two so you can see what you are paying for.
Other factors are the number of offers, whether you sell products through a catalogue, the languages you advertise in, and whether leads arrive by form, call or chat. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta and is separate from our fee.
For some businesses it is wise to begin with a smaller pilot: one offer, two creative angles, one audience, then expand when results justify it.
If you want help with the audit side, our Meta ads audit and optimization service is a sensible first step.
Cases where Instagram should wait
If your Instagram profile looks abandoned, your product pictures are poor, or your landing page loads slowly on mobile, spend money on those first. Paid reach magnifies whatever people find when they arrive.
Instagram is also a poor primary channel for products that people buy mostly through search, for audiences that are not on the app in your market, and for regulated claims you cannot present safely in an ad.
Instagram is better at building desire and bringing people into the funnel earlier.
Content, ads and profile working together
People who see an ad often open your profile before they act, so the grid, highlights and recent Reels are part of the sales page.
Our lesson on optimising an Instagram bio for conversions covers the basics.
Many Instagram buyers prefer to send a direct message before they commit, particularly for salons, clinics, fashion and custom orders. If messages sit unanswered for a day, the ad budget is wasted.
A product launch, a seasonal offer or an event is easier to promote when the feed, Stories and ads say the same thing in the same week.
Mistakes we correct on inherited accounts
Accounts set to maximise profile visits or post engagement get exactly that, and the inbox stays empty.
The second is publishing horizontal video or text-heavy images in Stories and Reels, where the interface covers the edges and the message disappears.
We also see accounts that run cold prospecting and retargeting in the same campaign, which makes warm buyers look like cheap wins for cold ads.
These are fixable in days, and fixing them tends to improve results without changing the budget.
Questions about price and location left unanswered under an ad quietly cost sales.
We include a simple comment and message routine in the setup, because social proof and quick answers belong to the ad as much as the image does.
Reporting that ties Instagram to outcomes
We show our work. Reports tie Instagram spend to real outcomes, using Meta data, GA4, UTM-tagged links and your own records of calls, chats and orders.
Instagram often influences a sale that closes later through search or WhatsApp, so we explain what the platform can and cannot claim.
If the audience is curious but not buying, we change the offer or the audience rather than adding budget.
Our Instagram marketing academy explains the organic side, and our Facebook ads management page covers the sister network.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you get in touch.
Is Instagram better than Facebook for ads?
Neither is better in general. It depends on your product, your buyer and your creative. We test both and compare cost per real lead or sale. Our academy guide on Facebook, Instagram or both gives a decision process.
Do I need Reels to run Instagram ads?
Not necessarily, but short video is usually worth testing because it has the most room to grow. Strong static images and carousels still work for many products. We plan a mix, then let your data decide.
Can you create the content too?
We can brief and direct creative, and where needed arrange production through our ad creative and UGC production service. This is scoped and quoted separately from ad management so the cost is clear.
Will Instagram ads get me followers?
They can, but followers are not the goal we optimise for unless you ask for it. We aim at enquiries, bookings or orders. If brand reach is the aim, we run a separate plan, like our brand awareness campaigns.
Can you run ads for a clinic or beauty business?
Yes, with care. Health and cosmetic ads face tighter policy and local advertising rules, so we avoid exaggerated claims and before and after imagery where it is not allowed. Always verify current platform and regulator rules for your treatments.
How is my ad budget handled?
You pay Meta directly from your own ad account, so you see every charge. Our management fee is separate. We recommend a starting spend after reviewing your market, and we adjust only with your agreement.
