Website redesign services that keep what ranks and fix what does not convert

Website redesign services rebuild the look, structure and performance of an existing site while preserving the search visibility and leads it already earns. We handle redesigns for businesses whose sites are slow, dated or hard to edit, and who cannot afford a traffic collapse after launch.

A redesign is a business project, not a facelift

The usual redesign story goes wrong in a predictable way. A new look is approved, a developer rebuilds the site on a fresh theme, old URLs quietly disappear and three months later the owner asks why enquiries have halved.

The design was fine. The migration was careless.

We treat a redesign as a chance to improve outcomes while keeping existing assets safe. That means finding out which pages bring traffic, which bring enquiries, which backlinks point where, and what the current site does well that you do not want to lose. Only then do we decide what to change: layout, messaging, structure, speed, platform or all four.

With more than 500 websites built and over 100,000 keywords ranked across our work, we have seen both sides of redesigns: the ones that grew traffic because weak pages were consolidated and speed improved, and the ones that lost it because nobody checked. Our job is to put you in the first group.

Signs your site is due for a rebuild

A refresh is worth considering when several of these are true at once.

Mobile experience is poor

Text is small, buttons are hard to tap and pages jump while loading. Most visitors in Pakistan arrive on phones.

Pages load slowly

Heavy themes, large images and old plugins slow every visit and hurt both conversions and search performance.

Editing is painful

If your team needs a developer to change a phone number, the site is costing you time.

Messaging has changed

Services, pricing and audience have moved on but the site still describes the business from years ago.

Security or platform age

Outdated software and abandoned plugins create real risk. A rebuild can be safer than patching.

Traffic without enquiries

People visit but do not call. The path to the action is unclear, buried or untrusted.

Included in a redesign engagement

Scope varies by site size, but these are the pieces we plan around.

  • Site auditTraffic, rankings, conversions, backlinks, speed and technical health reviewed in GA4, Search Console and crawl tools.
  • Content inventoryEvery page rated keep, improve, merge or remove, with reasons.
  • Structure and wireframesA cleaner navigation and page hierarchy built around how customers look for you.
  • Design and buildA new design, developed on WordPress, Shopify, Laravel or another platform that suits your team.
  • Content rewriteUpdated copy for key pages, with calls to action and proof where buyers need them.
  • SEO preservationTitles, headings, schema, internal links and a full redirect map from old URLs to new ones.
  • Staging and QATesting on a private copy across phones and browsers, including forms, payments and tracking.
  • Launch and monitoringA controlled launch followed by close checks of indexing, errors and traffic for several weeks.

Redesign timeline in stages

Order matters. Skipping the early stages is how sites lose traffic.

  1. Discovery and baselineWe record current traffic, rankings and conversions so that success can be judged later against facts.
  2. Strategy and sitemapWe decide which pages stay, merge or go, and design the new structure with search demand in mind.
  3. Design approvalKey templates are designed and approved before full development starts.
  4. Development on stagingThe new site is built privately, with content moved across and redirects prepared.
  5. Pre-launch checksWe crawl staging, test redirects, check indexing settings and run speed and mobile tests.
  6. Launch and aftercareWe go live at a quiet time, submit the new sitemap and monitor errors and rankings closely.

Keeping the content that earns its place

Content is where redesigns quietly succeed or fail.

Old sites collect pages nobody planned: duplicate service descriptions, thin blog posts, abandoned campaign pages and three versions of the about page.

Carrying all of it into a new design wastes money and dilutes the pages that matter.

Deleting it blindly throws away pages that may carry backlinks or rank for useful searches.

We sort pages by evidence.

Pages with traffic, leads or valuable links are kept and improved. Pages that cover the same topic are merged into one stronger page, with the old address redirected.

Pages with no traffic, no links and no purpose are removed.

The result is usually a smaller site that is easier to maintain and clearer for visitors and for Google.

This is also the moment to fix what the old copy never did well.

Calls to action move above the fold, proof such as reviews and credentials sits near the buttons, and the language shifts from what the company is proud of to what the customer is trying to get done.

Rebuild, refresh or start over

The right level of change depends on what is wrong. More work is not always better.

Situation
Best approach
Risk to watch
Good structure, dated look
Visual refresh on existing platform
Low, keep URLs unchanged
Slow, bloated theme
Rebuild theme, keep content
Medium, test layout changes
Outdated platform or security issues
Migration to a maintained platform
Higher, redirects essential
Messaging and offer changed
Content and structure rework
Medium, rankings may shift
Several sites to combine
Consolidation project
High, careful mapping needed

Factors that change price and schedule

Redesign cost depends on the number of pages and templates, how much content must be rewritten, the platform, any ecommerce or booking features, integrations, and how complex the redirect plan is.

A forty-page brochure site is far simpler than a store with thousands of products and customer accounts.

Approval speed on your side is the biggest factor for schedule.

We quote after the audit so you are not paying for guesses.

Browse our web design packages for ranges of scope, or request a redesign quote with your current URL.

For an in-depth checklist you can use yourself, read our website redesign checklist to protect your SEO.

Times a redesign is the wrong call

If the site ranks well and converts steadily, a redesign may be an expensive way to take a risk.

Fixing speed, rewriting a few weak pages or adding a stronger landing page often gives most of the gain.

Our landing page design service is one option, and speed optimization is another.

A redesign also will not solve a lack of traffic.

Prettier pages do not bring visitors on their own. Pair it with SEO or paid campaigns, or you will have a better shop in a quiet street.

We measure the result by comparing against the baseline recorded at the start: organic visits, enquiries, speed measurements and error counts. Where something falls, we say so and fix it.

Work is delivered from Lahore, with clients in the USA, UK, UAE and Europe, and the full range of website development services is available if your redesign grows into a new build.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you get in touch.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

It can if URLs, content and internal links change carelessly. With a proper audit, a redirect map and post-launch monitoring, most sites hold their visibility, and many improve as speed and structure get better. We cannot promise specific rankings, since Google decides.

How long does a website redesign take?

Small sites can take a few weeks, while larger ones with custom features take several months. Delays usually come from content and approvals. We give a schedule after the audit and flag what could slow it.

Can I keep my current domain and URLs?

Yes, and it is usually best to keep the domain. We keep URLs for pages that perform well and map any that must change to their new equivalents with permanent redirects.

Do you change platforms during a redesign?

Only when there is a reason, such as security, speed or editing limits. Moving from a bloated theme to a clean WordPress build is common. For stores, see our notes on choosing between Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento.

What do you need from me to start?

Access to your analytics, Search Console and hosting, a list of your goals, and examples of sites you like and dislike. Brand assets and current content help too.

Can I stay online during the rebuild?

Yes. The new site is built on a private staging copy while the current one stays live, then switched over at a planned time.
