Software QA & testing that finds the bug before your customer does
Software QA & testing is the planned checking of an application against its requirements, on real devices and real data, so defects are found before release instead of after. We provide it to teams that ship web apps, mobile apps and APIs, whether we built the product or not.

- Manual exploration plus automation for the flows that must never break
- Clear release sign-off with open risks stated in plain language
The cost of skipped testing
Testing is the first thing squeezed when a deadline tightens. Developers check their own work, a colleague clicks around for ten minutes, and the release goes out.
It works until a customer pays twice, a report shows the wrong total or a login fails on a phone nobody in the office owns. The fix is then rushed, which creates the next bug.
A dedicated QA function breaks that cycle for a simple reason: the person who wrote the code is the worst person to test it. They know how it is supposed to be used. A tester's job is to use it in the ways nobody planned, with slow connections, strange input, expired sessions and half-finished forms.
We work with product owners, agencies that need an outside check before handing work to a client, and companies whose in-house developers have outgrown informal testing. Our own delivery teams build for 500+ clients, so we have seen where the typical failures hide: permissions, payments, data imports, and anything that depends on a third-party service.
Testing services you can choose from
You can buy these as a package around a release, or as a standing arrangement alongside your developers.
- Test strategy and planA written approach covering what is tested, on which devices and browsers, by whom, and what counts as a pass.
- Functional testingEvery feature checked against the specification, including negative cases such as wrong input, double clicks and expired links.
- Regression testingA repeatable set of checks run before each release to confirm old features still work after new changes.
- Exploratory testingSkilled testers probing the product without a script, which finds the odd problems scripts never imagine.
- API testingRequests, responses, error handling and authentication checked directly, before the interface hides problems.
- Cross-browser and device testingLayout and behaviour on the phones, tablets and browsers your actual visitors use, drawn from your analytics.
- Performance and load checksResponse times on key screens and behaviour when many users act at once, using tools such as k6 or JMeter.
- Security basicsReview of common weaknesses such as broken access control, injection and exposed data, with a clear note on limits of scope.
Why trust this team with your build
For Software QA & Testing, projects live or die on maintainability. Here is what stands behind the delivery.
Hands-on experience
500+ websites and web applications delivered over 18+ years for clients in 48 countries, the experience behind your Software QA & Testing project.
Certified expertise
For Software QA & Testing, engineering is planned together with SEO, speed and reporting, so what ships is findable, fast and measurable rather than just finished.
Recognised work
Led by Junaid Tariq, a National Level Award Winner in Digital Marketing who also builds WordPress plugins, CRMs and web applications. See the about page.
Transparent by default
A written scope and milestones before build, code and documentation handed over at the end and hosting or domain accounts kept in your name.
A testing cycle from kickoff to sign-off
The routine is the same whether we test one release or run alongside your sprints.
- Understand the productWe read the requirements, walk through the application with your team and list the user journeys that carry money or risk.
- Plan and prepareTest cases, test data and environments are agreed. We insist on a staging site that mirrors production closely.
- Execute and logTesters run the cases and explore around them. Each defect is logged with steps, screenshots, severity and device details.
- Retest and regressDevelopers fix, we verify each fix and re-run the regression set to catch anything the fix broke.
- Report and sign offYou receive a summary of what was covered, what failed, what remains open and our recommendation on whether to release.
- Improve the processAfter release we review escaped defects and add checks, so the same mistake is harder to repeat.

Manual, automated and performance testing compared
Most products need all three, in different proportions.
Type | Strong at | Weak at |
|---|---|---|
Manual | Usability, new features, odd edge cases | Repetition across many releases |
Automated | Fast, repeatable regression on stable flows | Judging look and feel, new unstable features |
Performance | Finding slow queries and breaking points | Explaining why users dislike a screen |
Security review | Spotting common access and input flaws | Replacing a full penetration test |
Tools we work with
We adapt to your stack and tracker rather than forcing ours.
Area | Examples | Used for |
|---|---|---|
Test management | Jira, TestRail, spreadsheets | Cases, runs and defect tracking |
Web automation | Playwright, Cypress, Selenium | Browser flows such as login and checkout |
API checks | Postman, Newman | Endpoint behaviour and contract checks |
Load | k6, JMeter | Concurrency and response times |
Mobile | Real devices, BrowserStack-style device clouds | Android and iOS coverage |
Scope and cost factors for QA work
A product that ships weekly needs a maintained automated regression suite, which costs more to build and less to run.
Documentation quality matters too: if requirements are vague, testers spend time asking questions that a clear specification would have answered.
Automation is priced as its own piece of work, because writing stable tests takes real engineering.

Working with your developers day to day
We aim for the opposite: testers who read requirements early, ask awkward questions in planning and write acceptance criteria with the product owner.
A story with clear criteria is easier to build and cheaper to test, and most of the defects we prevent are prevented in that conversation.
Each has exact steps, expected and actual results, the device or browser, a screenshot or recording and a severity that the business can understand.
When something is a matter of opinion, we label it as a suggestion and not a defect.
For Pakistani teams that ship to overseas customers, we also test the things local offices forget: foreign time zones, currency and tax formats, long addresses, names with unusual characters and slower mobile connections in the customer's own country.
Situations where we advise against heavy QA
A tester doing quick exploratory sessions before demos is enough.
If the requirements change every few days, do not build a large automation suite on top of them yet, because you will rewrite it constantly.
And if nobody can describe how the product should behave, start with a short clarification exercise through software consulting before testing anything.
If every release breaks something unrelated, the problem is structural, and a plan such as legacy software modernization will help more than extra testers.
Proof by method: evidence you can read
Each cycle produces a written report listing the cases run, the defects found by severity, the defects fixed and verified, and the risks left open with an owner.
When we also provide API development and integration, testers and developers share contracts so errors surface early.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you get in touch.
What is the difference between QA and testing?
Testing is the act of checking software for defects. Quality assurance is wider: it covers the processes, standards and habits that stop defects being introduced, such as clear requirements, code review and release checklists. Our service combines both, so you get bug reports and also advice on preventing them.
Can you test software that someone else built?
Yes, and it is common. We start with a walkthrough and a short risk review, then agree the scope. It helps if you can provide a staging environment, access to requirements or user stories, and a channel to ask developers questions.
Do I need automated tests?
Only where they pay for themselves. Automation suits stable, high-value flows that run every release, such as sign-up and checkout. New or changing features are cheaper to test by hand. We usually recommend a small automated suite for the critical journeys and manual exploration for the rest.
How much testing is enough before launch?
Enough to cover every feature that touches money, personal data or core workflows, on the browsers and devices your customers use, with all severe defects fixed. Perfect coverage does not exist, so our report states what was tested and what was not, and you decide with that knowledge.
Can your testers work inside our sprints?
Yes. A tester can join your planning, review stories before development, test completed tickets during the sprint and run regression before release. Communication happens through your tracker and chat tools, with calls scheduled to suit your time zone.
Do you test mobile apps and APIs as well as websites?
Yes. We check Android and iOS builds on real devices where possible, and test APIs directly with tools such as Postman. Our related React Native app development experience helps with cross-platform behaviour.
