immediately cease all use of the Plugin and remove it from your systems.

This Policy is a legally binding agreement between you and Junaid Tariq

“Plugin” — The AI Marketing by JT WordPress plugin, version 1.2.0
and all future versions, developed and owned by Junaid Tariq.

privacy law.

“Visitor” — Any natural person who accesses a website on which the

================================================================================
SECTION 2 — LEGAL BASIS AND ROLES UNDER PRIVACY LAW
================================================================================

2.1 THE DEVELOPER IS NOT A DATA CONTROLLER FOR VISITOR DATA
——————————————————————————–

The Developer (Junaid Tariq) does not collect, receive, store, process,
access, or control any Visitor data gathered by the Plugin’s analytics
features. All analytics data collected by the Plugin is:

(a) Stored exclusively in the Site Owner’s own WordPress database, on
servers owned or controlled solely by the Site Owner.

(b) Never transmitted to the Developer, to junaidtariq.com, or to any
third party, under any circumstances.

(c) The sole legal responsibility and liability of the Site Owner as the
Data Controller under all applicable privacy laws including but not
limited to GDPR (EU) 2016/679, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (California),
PIPEDA (Canada), LGPD (Brazil), PDPA (Thailand), POPIA (South Africa),
and all other applicable national and regional privacy regulations.

The Developer’s sole role is that of a software tool provider. The Developer
has no legal obligation under GDPR Article 28 or equivalent provisions as a
Data Processor for Visitor analytics data, because the Developer has no access
to, interaction with, or control over that data at any time.

2.2 THE SITE OWNER IS THE SOLE DATA CONTROLLER
——————————————————————————–

By installing the Plugin, the Site Owner acknowledges and agrees that:

(a) They are the sole Data Controller for all data collected by the Plugin
on their website.

(b) They are solely responsible for ensuring their own privacy policy
discloses the Plugin’s data collection to their Visitors.

(c) They are solely responsible for obtaining any required consent from
their Visitors under applicable law.

(d) They indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claim,
fine, penalty, lawsuit, or legal proceeding arising from the Site
Owner’s failure to comply with applicable privacy laws in connection
with their use of the Plugin.

(e) They will not name the Developer as a co-respondent, co-defendant,
or responsible party in any legal proceeding, regulatory complaint,
or enforcement action arising from data collected via the Plugin on
their website.

================================================================================
SECTION 3 — DATA COLLECTED BY THE PLUGIN’S ANALYTICS MODULE
================================================================================

3.1 WHAT IS COLLECTED — ANALYTICS DATA
——————————————————————————–

When the Analytics module is enabled by the Site Owner, the Plugin collects
the following categories of data from Visitors to the Site Owner’s website.
All items listed below are strictly Anonymous Data as defined in Section 1.

(a) GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION — Country and city level only.
The visitor’s IP address is used momentarily, server-side, to determine
the approximate country and city. The IP address itself is NEVER stored
in the database, never logged, never transmitted, and never retained
in any form. Only the resulting country name and city name are stored.

(b) TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT — Browser type and version, operating system,
device type (Mobile / Desktop / Tablet). This is derived from the
standard HTTP User-Agent string, which is discarded after parsing.
No full User-Agent string is stored.

(c) BEHAVIORAL DATA — Pages visited on the Site Owner’s website, time
spent on each page, total session duration, and number of pages
visited per session.

(d) REFERRAL DATA — The domain of the referring website. Query strings
and URL parameters are stripped before storage to prevent inadvertent
collection of personal data embedded in URLs (such as email addresses
or user IDs in query parameters).

(e) CAMPAIGN PARAMETERS — UTM tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign)
if present in the URL at the time of the visit.

(f) WIDGET INTERACTION DATA — Which contact button or widget was clicked
by the Visitor (Call button, WhatsApp button, Contact button, or
service links), and on which page of the website the click occurred.

(g) SESSION IDENTIFIER — A temporary, randomly generated alphanumeric
string (e.g. jtc_1711234567_abc1234x) stored in the browser’s
sessionStorage (not cookies). This identifier:
– Is generated fresh for each browser tab session
– Cannot be linked to any individual user
– Is not stored in cookies
– Expires automatically when the browser tab is closed
– Is hashed before database storage using a site-specific salt
– Cannot be reversed to identify any person

3.2 WHAT IS EXPLICITLY NOT COLLECTED
——————————————————————————–

The Plugin NEVER collects, stores, processes, or transmits the following:

– Full IP addresses (only country/city is derived and stored)
– Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact information
– Passwords, authentication tokens, or login credentials
– Payment information, credit card numbers, or financial data
– Health, medical, or biometric data
– Racial or ethnic origin
– Political opinions or religious beliefs
– Cookies for tracking purposes (sessionStorage only, expires on tab close)
– Data from users below the age of 13 (or 16 in EU jurisdictions)
– Cross-site tracking data
– Device fingerprints
– GPS coordinates or precise location data
– Any data from forms submitted on the website
– Any personal communication content
– Any data from third-party sources

3.3 LEGAL BASIS FOR ANALYTICS DATA PROCESSING
——————————————————————————–

The Plugin’s analytics data collection constitutes processing of Anonymous
Data as defined under GDPR Recital 26, because the data:

(a) Does not relate to an identified or identifiable natural person.
(b) Cannot, by any reasonable means, be used to identify any individual.
(c) Does not meet the definition of Personal Data under GDPR Article 4(1).

Where any jurisdiction requires a legal basis even for anonymous analytics,
the applicable basis is Legitimate Interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f),
as the collection of anonymous website statistics to improve website
performance and marketing effectiveness is a legitimate business interest
that does not override the fundamental rights and freedoms of data subjects,
given the anonymous nature of the data and the minimal privacy impact.

No consent banner, cookie notice, or opt-in mechanism is legally required
for collection of genuinely anonymous data. However, the Plugin provides
an opt-out mechanism (described in Section 6) for Site Owners who wish to
offer their Visitors the ability to opt out as a matter of best practice.

================================================================================
SECTION 4 — LICENSE VERIFICATION AND SERVER COMMUNICATION
================================================================================

4.1 WHAT IS TRANSMITTED FOR LICENSE VERIFICATION
——————————————————————————–

The Plugin performs periodic background communication with the Developer’s
license server at junaidtariq.com for the sole purposes of:

(a) Verifying that the installed software license key is valid and active.
(b) Delivering administrative notifications to the Site Owner (such as
plugin update announcements).
(c) Enabling or disabling plugin features based on license status.

The ONLY data transmitted during these communications is:

– The website’s domain name (e.g. example.com)
– The plugin software version number (e.g. 1.2.0)
– The license key or a derived identifier of the license key

NO Visitor data of any kind is transmitted to the Developer’s servers.
NO analytics data is transmitted to the Developer’s servers.
NO personal information about the Site Owner’s website visitors is
transmitted to the Developer’s servers at any time.

4.2 LEGAL BASIS FOR LICENSE VERIFICATION COMMUNICATION
——————————————————————————–

This communication is necessary for the performance of the license agreement
between the Site Owner and the Developer (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — contract
performance), and constitutes the Developer’s Legitimate Interest in
protecting the integrity of its software licensing system (Article 6(1)(f)).

4.3 DATA RETENTION FOR LICENSE VERIFICATION
——————————————————————————–

The Developer may retain the domain name and license validation timestamps
in server logs for a period not exceeding 12 months for the purpose of
license administration, fraud prevention, and software abuse detection.
This data is used solely for these purposes and is not shared with
any third party.

================================================================================
SECTION 5 — DATA STORAGE, SECURITY, AND RETENTION
================================================================================

5.1 STORAGE LOCATION
——————————————————————————–

All analytics data collected by the Plugin is stored exclusively in the
Site Owner’s own WordPress database (wp_jtc_clicks, wp_jtc_sessions,
wp_jtc_pageviews tables). The Developer has no access to these tables
and no ability to read, modify, export, or delete this data.

5.2 SECURITY MEASURES IN THE PLUGIN
——————————————————————————–

The Plugin implements the following technical security measures:

(a) IP Non-Storage: IP addresses are used only for geo-lookup and are
discarded immediately. They are never written to the database.

(b) Session ID Hashing: Session identifiers are hashed with a site-
specific salt before database storage, making them irreversible.

(c) Referrer Sanitization: URL query strings are stripped from referrer
URLs before storage to prevent accidental collection of personal
data in URL parameters.

(d) Do Not Track: The Plugin respects the browser’s Do Not Track (DNT)
signal. If a Visitor’s browser sends DNT:1, no data is collected.

(e) Consent Plugin Integration: The Plugin integrates with major consent
management platforms including Cookiebot, CookieYes, Complianz, and
Borlabs Cookie. If a Visitor has not consented to analytics via a
consent plugin, no data is collected.

(f) Rate Limiting: The Plugin implements rate limiting on all data
collection endpoints to prevent abuse and data flooding attacks.

(g) Input Validation: All data inputs are sanitized and validated using
WordPress security standards before database storage.

(h) Nonce Protection: All administrative actions are protected by
WordPress nonce verification to prevent CSRF attacks.

5.3 DATA RETENTION
——————————————————————————–

Analytics data is automatically deleted by the Plugin after the retention
period configured by the Site Owner (default: 90 days). The Site Owner is
solely responsible for configuring an appropriate retention period under
their applicable legal obligations.

The Plugin provides a “Delete All Analytics Data” feature in its Settings
panel that permanently and irreversibly deletes all collected analytics data.

5.4 SITE OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES FOR DATA SECURITY
——————————————————————————–

The Site Owner is solely responsible for:

(a) The security of their WordPress hosting environment and database.
(b) Ensuring appropriate technical and organisational measures are in
place to protect analytics data stored in their database.
(c) Complying with any breach notification requirements under applicable
law in the event of a data breach affecting their website’s database.

================================================================================
SECTION 6 — VISITOR RIGHTS AND OPT-OUT
================================================================================

6.1 OPT-OUT MECHANISM
——————————————————————————–

The Plugin provides a built-in opt-out mechanism for Visitors. Site Owners
can add the shortcode Opt out of anonymous analytics tracking to their Privacy Policy page. When a
Visitor clicks the opt-out link:

(a) A first-party opt-out cookie (jtc_analytics_optout=1) is set in the
Visitor’s browser, valid for 12 months.
(b) The Plugin immediately ceases all analytics data collection for that
Visitor’s browser.
(c) The Visitor can opt back in at any time using the same link.

6.2 VISITOR RIGHTS UNDER GDPR AND EQUIVALENT LAWS
——————————————————————————–

Where applicable under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent laws, Visitors
may exercise the following rights with respect to any data collected about
them by the Plugin:

RIGHT TO ACCESS: Because the Plugin collects no personal data (as
defined under applicable law), there is no personal data to access.
The Plugin’s anonymization approach means collected data cannot be
linked to any individual Visitor.

RIGHT TO ERASURE: The Site Owner can delete all analytics data at any
time using the Plugin’s Data Management feature (Settings > Data
Management > Delete All). Because data is anonymous, individual-level
erasure is not technically possible or legally required.

RIGHT TO OBJECT: Visitors may opt out at any time using the opt-out
mechanism provided by the Site Owner via the Opt out of anonymous analytics tracking shortcode.

RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY: Because the Plugin collects no personal data,
the right to portability does not apply to this data under GDPR Article 20.

CCPA — RIGHT TO KNOW / RIGHT TO DELETE: The Plugin does not “sell”
any personal information as defined by CCPA. The Plugin does not collect
personal information as defined by CCPA. The opt-out mechanism described
above satisfies any applicable opt-out requirements.

6.3 HOW SITE OWNERS SHOULD HANDLE VISITOR RIGHTS REQUESTS
——————————————————————————–

If a Site Owner receives a data subject rights request (e.g. a GDPR
Subject Access Request or CCPA deletion request) from a Visitor in
relation to data collected by this Plugin, the Site Owner should note that:

(a) The Plugin collects no data that can identify any individual Visitor.
(b) No data can be matched to a specific individual requestor.
(c) The appropriate response is to confirm that no personal data relating
to the requestor is held, because the Plugin only collects anonymous
aggregate data.
(d) As an additional goodwill measure, the Site Owner may choose to
delete all analytics data using the Plugin’s Data Management feature.

================================================================================
SECTION 7 — INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
================================================================================

7.1 VISITOR ANALYTICS DATA — NO INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER
——————————————————————————–

Visitor analytics data collected by the Plugin is stored exclusively in the
Site Owner’s own hosting environment. No international transfer of Visitor
analytics data occurs through the Plugin. Any international transfer of this
data is solely the result of the Site Owner’s choice of hosting provider
and is governed by the Site Owner’s own privacy obligations.

7.2 LICENSE VERIFICATION DATA — TRANSFER TO PAKISTAN
——————————————————————————–

License verification communications are transmitted to the Developer’s
servers located in or accessible from Pakistan. This involves transmission
of the Site Owner’s domain name and license key only — no Visitor personal
data is involved in this transfer.

Where the Site Owner is based in the European Economic Area (EEA), the
United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with international transfer
restrictions, the Site Owner acknowledges that this transfer is:

(a) Necessary for the performance of the license contract between the
Site Owner and the Developer (GDPR Article 49(1)(b)).

(b) Limited to domain name and license key only — no personal data
of any Visitor or end user is involved.

(c) Conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections where supported by
the Site Owner’s server environment.

================================================================================
SECTION 8 — CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
================================================================================

8.1 NO DATA COLLECTED FROM CHILDREN
——————————————————————————–

The Plugin is designed for use by businesses and adult website operators.
The Plugin does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age
of 13 (United States — COPPA), or under the age of 16 where required by
applicable law (EU GDPR Article 8).

Because the Plugin does not collect any personal data from Visitors (as
established in Section 3), it does not collect personal data from children.
The anonymous aggregate data collected (country, browser type, pages visited)
cannot identify any individual, including minors.

If a Site Owner’s website is directed at children or knowingly serves
children, the Site Owner bears sole responsibility for compliance with
COPPA, the EU’s age-appropriate design requirements, the UK’s Children’s
Code, and all equivalent laws, and must ensure the Plugin is configured
appropriately or disabled.

================================================================================
SECTION 9 — CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA / CPRA)
================================================================================

9.1 NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
——————————————————————————–

This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of
this Privacy Policy in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act
(CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

CATEGORIES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED:
The Plugin does not collect “personal information” as defined under CCPA
California Civil Code Section 1798.140(o). The Plugin collects only
anonymous, aggregate data (country, city, browser type, device type,
pages visited) that does not identify, relate to, describe, or could
reasonably be linked to any particular consumer or household.

SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION:
The Developer does NOT sell personal information. The Plugin does NOT
sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose personal information to third
parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.

SHARING FOR CROSS-CONTEXT BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING:
The Plugin does NOT share personal information for cross-context
behavioral advertising purposes.

RIGHT TO OPT OUT OF SALE:
As the Developer does not sell personal information, there is no right
to opt out that applies. However, the Plugin provides an analytics
opt-out mechanism (Section 6.1) for Site Owners to offer their Visitors.

RIGHT TO KNOW:
California residents may request to know what personal information has
been collected about them. Because the Plugin collects no personal
information as defined under CCPA, the appropriate response is that
no personal information has been collected.

RIGHT TO DELETE:
California residents may request deletion of their personal information.
Because the Plugin collects no personal information about identifiable
individuals, there is no personal information to delete. Site Owners may
use the Plugin’s Data Management feature to delete all analytics records
as a goodwill measure.

RIGHT TO NON-DISCRIMINATION:
The Developer does not discriminate against any consumer for exercising
their CCPA rights.

SHINE THE LIGHT (California Civil Code Section 1798.83):
The Developer does not disclose personal information to third parties for
direct marketing purposes.

================================================================================
SECTION 10 — COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY LAWS
================================================================================

10.1 GENERAL COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
——————————————————————————–

The Plugin has been designed to comply with the requirements of major
international privacy frameworks. The key design decisions that enable
this compliance are:

NO IP STORAGE: IP addresses are never stored — eliminating the
primary basis for most privacy law obligations.

NO COOKIES: The Plugin uses sessionStorage (not cookies) for
session identification — eliminating cookie consent
requirements under the EU ePrivacy Directive and
equivalent laws.

NO THIRD-PARTY DATA: All data stays on the Site Owner’s own server —
eliminating third-party data sharing concerns.

DO NOT TRACK: The Plugin respects browser DNT signals.

CONSENT INTEGRATION: The Plugin integrates with consent management
platforms to respect Visitor consent choices.

OPT-OUT: Built-in opt-out mechanism via Opt out of anonymous analytics tracking shortcode.

DATA MINIMISATION: Only the minimum data necessary for analytics
purposes is collected, in accordance with GDPR
Article 5(1)(c) and equivalent principles.

10.2 JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC NOTES

================================================================================

11.1 DEVELOPER LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
——————————————————————————–

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

(a) THE DEVELOPER IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY FINES, PENALTIES, DAMAGES,
LOSSES, LEGAL COSTS, OR OTHER CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM THE SITE
OWNER’S FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY APPLICABLE PRIVACY LAW IN
CONNECTION WITH THEIR USE OF THE PLUGIN.

(b) THE DEVELOPER IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DATA BREACH, UNAUTHORISED
ACCESS, OR SECURITY INCIDENT AFFECTING DATA STORED IN THE SITE
OWNER’S DATABASE, AS THE DEVELOPER HAS NO ACCESS TO OR CONTROL
OVER THE SITE OWNER’S HOSTING ENVIRONMENT.

(c) THE DEVELOPER MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE PLUGIN’S USE OF LEGITIMATE
INTEREST AS A LEGAL BASIS FOR ANALYTICS DATA COLLECTION IS
APPROPRIATE FOR EVERY JURISDICTION OR USE CASE. THE SITE OWNER
IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING LEGAL ADVICE REGARDING THEIR
OWN COMPLIANCE OBLIGATIONS.

(d) THE DEVELOPER IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DEMAND, LAWSUIT, OR
LEGAL PROCEEDING BROUGHT AGAINST THE SITE OWNER BY ANY REGULATORY
