Sources
The new beta setting allows Google to automatically create additional ad assets, including a header and description. It comes from the sources which are as under:
- This is a landing page.
- When you create valid meta descriptions and title tags, your content will be relevant to what someone might type into the search box.
- Existing text ads in this ad group
- The content of the ad group
Auto-creating assets can be a lot of help when it comes to your SEO. If you have access to this new feature, you’ll instruct Google to create the assets by mining eligible sources based on relevance and predicted performance.
When your responsive search ad is eligible to serve for a query, the system parses information from your pool of sources and selects the optimized assets. These assets can take the form of entire sentences, phrases, or paraphrasing while still retaining the original meaning. The generated assets are then added to the pool of eligible assets for your new responsive search ad (RSA).
Asset Report
Performance reports can be accessed from the reporting section of your ads account. They let advertisers view the performance of their automatically-created advertisements.
Receive detailed information about the assets that were used in your RSTs by going to “Asset Report” from the “Ad level” and selecting “View asset details.” You will see a list of all the assets included, including data such as their file size and unique IDs.
The source column separates automatically created assets from advertiser-created ones.
High-quality, automatically generated assets will show you impressions and performance data. On the Channel Detailed Summary report, auto-created assets are visible just as advertiser-provided assets would be. View all the ads served by going to “combination report” and viewing the combinations that are being served.
If you want to limit automatically generated assets, go into your Google Ads account and navigate to Settings, then click on Automatically created assets.
